Donga Dongadi is a 2004 Telugu action comedy film written and directed by Subramaniam Siva, produced by NV Prasad and Sanam Naga Ashok Kumar under Sri Saideva Productions banner and starring Manoj Manchu and Sadha in lead roles. The film soundtrack was composed by Dhina and Cinematography was handled by Ajay Vincent. Dialogues of the movie were written by popular writer Chintapalli Ramana. This film marks the debut of Manoj Manchu as a leading actor. The movie was a remake of Tamil movie Thiruda Thirudi starring Dhanush and Chayasingh directed by Subramaniam Siva. Donga Dongadi was released on 6 August 2004.
Synopsis
Vasu (Manchu Manoj Kumar) is a strong willed reckless guy. He spends most of his time hanging out with his friends, who belong to the same flock. He loves his father (Manikka Vinayagam) and his brother (Rajeev Kanakala) very dearly. His brother is different from him that he is responsible and studious. He ignores his father's words of wisdom and is regularly chided by his father as a good-for-nothing guy. In one such incident he loses the trust and faith of his father as he gets involved in teasing a girl called Vijji (Sadha). That incident makes Vasu realize the importance of having good relationship with his father. But father asks him to prove himself as a responsible man. Vasu travels to Vizag from Tirupati in search of a job. In Vizag, he incidentally meets Vijji again. Meanwhile, there is another girl Pooja (Varshita), who is madly in love with Vasu. With Vasu out to prove a point to his father, finally convinces him and in the process also wins the hand of the heroine. By the end, he also realizes the importance of family values and his love for Vijji.Actors

Siddhu (Allari Naresh) is a young man who hails from Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh. To pursue his education he joins a college in Visakhapatnam. There he meets and eventually falls in love with a girl called Sailaja (Manjari). After a couple of encounters between the two, Siddhu reveals his love to Sailaja and she too accepts his love. A few days after the incident, the college declares vacations. On the last of the college, Sailaja reveals that her father Obul Reddy (Jayaprakash Reddy), a big time factionist has settled her marriage with Bhuma Reddy's (Vijayaranga Raju) brother. On learning about Obul Reddy, Siddhu tells Sailaja that it would be better to break up than contiune their love as he doesn't want to lose his life over love. He thinks everything practically and reveals his decision. However, Sailaja agrees to separate from him on one condition that Siddhu should come to her marriage and stay with her till the tying of knot by the bridegroom, that too with a smiling face. Siddhu accepts her condition and reaches her village. He withstands his emotions and the teasing of Sailaja. At one stage, Siddhu also tries to tease Sailaja by becoming intimate with her cousin Nisha (Shradha Das). However, eventually he tells everyone that he loves Sailaja and can not live without her. He finally understands that love is greater than life and he is ready to sacrifice his life for the sake of love. At the same time, using his intelligence he creates a situation where Sailaja's father himself comes to Siddhu and asks him to marry his daughter. Siddhu marries Sailaja with the acceptance of everyone in her family.

In the Andhra Pradesh-Karnataka border, there are 2 villages named Pandavapuram and Kauravapuram. Dharmanna (Giri Babu) is the Head of Pandavapuram village who is considered as the latest descendant of the Pandavas while Suyodhana (Mukesh Rishi) is the Head of Kauravapuram village who too is considered as the latest descendant of the Kauravas. As expected, Dharmanna is a good Samaritan while Suyodhana is a dangerous criminal who runs a quarry business. Similar to the tale of Mahabharatha, here in this film too, Dharmanna and Suyodhana play the game of cards in which Suyodhana fails which makes him to follow the stipulation of the game - No celebration, marriage and any good events should not be conducted for 14 years. This leaves Suyodhana swearing vengeance and exactly after 14 years, by manipulation, Suyodhana wins the game and asks Dharmanna to give his daughter's hand with his youngest son's marriage. Thus to ensure his daughter Honey (Hansika Motwani)'s safety, Dharmanna sends her to Bangkok along with his friend and his friend's daughter. There she stays with Satya (Raveena Tandon)'s family and starts working with her sons Vijay (Manchu Vishnu) and Gopal (Vennela Kishore) in a successful boat business.

The movie begins with Raghupathi (Nassar) being introduced as the eldest of his three brothers - the other two being Raghava (Tanikella Bharani) and Rajaram (Vajja Venkata Giridhar) and sister Swarajyam (Rajitha) and her husband (Chandramohan) with Chandu (Ram) as the only son of Raghava and sole inheritor of the property of 'R S Brothers'. Chandu plans the elopement of his cousin Swapna (Tamannaah) with her boyfriend (Navdeep) due to which he is ousted from the house and is isolated from his family by Raghupathi. However, Chandu tries to re-establish links with his family members, but to no avail. Meanwhile, on the last day of his college, Chandu and his friends meet their friend "Google" Gopi (Ravi Varma) who is depressed because his girlfriend is getting married to someone else. Chandu decides to stop the marriage and marry off her to Gopi. However, they kidnap Pooja (Genelia D'Souza) instead of Gopi's girlfriend due to a mistaken identity. After being chased by some hooligans - who are after Pooja - they escape with the exception of Chandu and Pooja who end up in forest. Chandu falls for Pooja who also reciprocates her feelings.

Pandiarajan and Urvashi have no children even after being married for a long time, Pandiarajan comes to know through the doctor that his wife cannot bear children. Not willing to hurt his wife's feelings, he takes the blame on himself. While on a business tour to Nepal, he marries a Nepali girl (Vinaya) under some unavoidable circumstances. When he comes to know that she is carrying his child, Pandiarajan arranges for her stay at his friend's house. Vinaya delivers a boy and Pandiarajan adopts him with his wife's consent who is not aware of the truth. Unable to suppress her urge to be near her child, the Nepali girl comes as a cook to her husband's house. Pandiarajan's father (R Sundarrajan) comes to know the truth and tells his son to accept Vinaya and make a clean of things to Urvashi. But Pandiarajan who is apprehensive of his wife's reaction begs his father to keep the whole affair under wraps. The story takes a turn to climax when Urvashi, not happy with the goings on in the kitchen, tries to get Vinaya married off to someone else. The movie ends on a happy note when Urvashi comes to a compromise and the two wives live happily with one husband .
