Dragon Head (ドラゴンヘッド, Doragon heddo) est un film japonais réalisé par Jōji Iida, sorti en 2003, et adapté du manga Dragon Head.
Synopsis
Teru, Ako et Nobuo sont les seuls survivants de l'accident du train, qui les ramenait de voyage scolaire. Prisonniers dans un tunnel bouché aux deux extrémités, ils doivent s'organiser pour survivre dans l'obscurité et la chaleur. Mais Nobuo commence à voir un monstre de ténèbres qui lui fait perdre la raison. Teru et Ako cherchent donc à lui échapper tandis que le tunnel menace de s'effondrer entièrement. Ils y parviennent, pour se retrouver dans un extérieur complètement détruit, à l'air rempli de cendres, où le peu de survivants semblent aussi avoir perdu la raison. Ils décident de se diriger vers Tokyo.Actors

Cannibalistic zombies have overrun the entire world. The film takes place in late 1999. India has an out-of-control nuclear satellite in orbit that is about to re-enter the atmosphere at any time, contaminating large areas of the Earth. This has caused a massive panic, with everyone trying to flee the likely impact sites. Caught in a traffic jam, impatient and disconnected Claire Tourneur (Solveig Dommartin) escapes the highway congestion by taking a side road. Her dashboard computer system announces she has left the map zone database and is on her own. She then has a couple of odd encounters, first with a pair of bank robbers (which leaves her with a large amount of cash), then with a hitchhiker being pursued by an armed party. Claire discovers, after falling in love with the enigmatic fugitive, that he is the son of a scientist (played by Max von Sydow), and has absconded with the prototype of a secret research project. Multiple government agencies and freelance bounty hunters are chasing him to recover the device.

Prior to the events of the film, a scientist is ordered by his dictator to create a machine in the apparent name of progress. The Scientist uses his own intellect to create the B.R.A.I.N., a thinking robot. However, the dictator quickly seizes it and integrates it into the Fabrication Machine, an armature that can construct an army of war machines to destroy the dictator's enemies. Lacking a soul, the Fabrication Machine becomes corrupted and decides to exterminate almost all life on Earth. The Fabrication Machine reprograms the other war machines to turn against humans by using toxic gas and chemical weapons.
