Futureworld is a 1976 American science fiction thriller film directed by Richard T. Heffron and written by Mayo Simon and George Schenck. It is a sequel to the 1973 Michael Crichton film Westworld. The sequel starred Peter Fonda, Blythe Danner, Arthur Hill, Stuart Margolin, John Ryan, and Yul Brynner, who made a cameo appearance in a dream sequence. Other than Brynner, none of the cast members from the original film appear, and original writer-director Crichton was not involved.
The film attempted to take the plot in a different direction from Westworld, but it was not generally well received by the critics. It was made by American International Pictures (its predecessor was made by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, which later bought AIP's successors Orion Pictures).
Afterward, there was a short-lived television series called Beyond Westworld.
Synopsis
Two years after the Westworld tragedy (the date June 20, 1985, is seen on the check presented to the game show winner in the opening scene), the Delos corporation owners have reopened the park following $1.5 billion in safety improvements. For publicity purposes, newspaper reporter Chuck Browning (Peter Fonda) and TV reporter Tracy Ballard (Blythe Danner) are invited to review the park. Just before the junket is announced, Browning arranges to meet with a Delos employee who promises he has dirt on the corporation. During the meeting, the tipster is shot in the back and dies after giving Browning an envelope.Actors

Sometime in the near future a high-tech, highly-realistic adult amusement park called Delos features three themed "worlds" — West World (the American Old West), Medieval World (medieval Europe), and Roman World (the pre-Christian city of Pompeii). Set in the future, youth gang violence is so high that the areas around some schools have become "free fire zones", into which not even the Police will venture. When Dr. Miles Langford (Malcolm McDowell), the Principal of Kennedy High School in Seattle, decides to take his school back from the gangs, Megatech robotics specialist Dr. Robert Forrest (Stacy Keach) provides "tactical education units", consisting of Mr. Bryles (Patrick Kilpatrick), Ms. Connors (Pam Grier), and Mr. Hardin (John Ryan) for a new pilot enforcement agency called the Department of Educational Defense (D.E.D.). These humanoids have been programmed to teach and are supplied with weapons to discipline trouble-makers. The androids soon overstep their authority, causing the students to fight back.

Ex-convict Bobby Ogden (Peter Fonda) is trying to get his life straight and his career going as a country and western singer. Bobby shows off some of his tunes to Nashville star Garland Dupree (James Callahan). However, Dupree uses one his songs "Outlaw Blues" for himself with no credit to Bobby. Bobby confronts Dupree and when Dupree pulls a gun on him, he accidentally shoots himself in the ensuing struggle. Of course, Dupree tells everyone that Bobby shot him. Now Bobby's on the run, with only Dupree's recently fired back up singer Tina Waters (Susan Saint James) believing him. Prior to the events of the film, a scientist is ordered by his dictator to create a machine in the apparent name of progress. The Scientist uses his own intellect to create the B.R.A.I.N., a thinking robot. However, the dictator quickly seizes it and integrates it into the Fabrication Machine, an armature that can construct an army of war machines to destroy the dictator's enemies. Lacking a soul, the Fabrication Machine becomes corrupted and decides to exterminate almost all life on Earth. The Fabrication Machine reprograms the other war machines to turn against humans by using toxic gas and chemical weapons. On the verge of destruction, the Scientist uses alchemy to create nine homunculus-like rag dolls known as "Stitchpunks" using portions of his own soul via a talisman and dies upon finishing the last one.

Neo and Bane lie unconscious in the medical bay of the ship Hammer. Six months after the events of the first film, Neo and Trinity are now lovers. Morpheus receives a message from Captain Niobe of the Logos calling an emergency meeting of all of Zion's ships. Zion has confirmed the last transmission of the Osiris: an army of Sentinels is tunneling towards Zion and will reach it within 72 hours. Commander Lock orders all ships to return to Zion to prepare for the onslaught, but Morpheus asks one ship to remain in order to contact the Oracle. The Caduceus receives a message from the Oracle, and the Nebuchadnezzar ventures out so Neo can contact her. One of the Caduceus crew, Bane, encounters Agent Smith, who takes over Bane's avatar. Smith then uses this avatar to leave the Matrix, gaining control of Bane's real body.

In this sequel to the 1990 movie Class of 1999, the setting is still a violent future metropolis where gangs rule the hallways and themes like education and higher learning are a mere memory. Jenna McKenzie is a young, sweet high school teacher who witnesses the killing of one of her students by gang member Sanders. Jenna wants to testify, so Sanders and his thugs try to intimidate her with threats and even going as far as to try to rape her. The principal cannot suspend Sanders without definite proof of wrongdoing, the cops have no evidence and Jenna's boyfriend Emmett wants to deal with Sanders himself, but Jenna does not want him to do that. Jenna starts to question whether or not suspending Sanders will improve the educational system or not. Enter John Bolen, a substitute teacher who believes in extremely strict discipline. Jenna takes a liking to him and feels she has found a friend who is willing to listen to her problems. John teaches Jenna that students should not be allowed to gain control of any situation in the classroom and that she must have a firm hand when it comes to teaching students. When Sanders and his gang try again to harm Jenna, John shows up in the nick of time and defends her from harm. John realises that Sanders and his crew have no respect for the faculty and decides to kill the gang members one by one. Then, Emmett and the local sheriff learn that an ex-C.I.A. operative named Gordon Ash is in town and is tailing John. It turns out that John is not an ordinary teacher after all: it seems that he believes he is the last of a group of cybernetic fighting machines who are programmed to teach students and discipline those who misbehave. But, in reality is only a human ex-soldier wearing body armor. As it happens, Sanders and his group are at the top of John's "Termination" list. But then, John starts to malfunction and starts to target almost everyone for termination, even Jenna.

The year is 2078. The planet Sirius 6B, once a thriving mining hub, has been reduced to a toxic wasteland by a civil war between the mining company, known as the New Economic Block (NEB), and the Alliance, a group of former mining and science personnel. Five years into the war, Alliance scientists created and deployed Autonomous Mobile Swords (AMS) — artificially intelligent self-replicating machines that hunt down and kill NEB soldiers on their own. They are nicknamed "screamers" because of a high-pitched noise they emit as they attack. Screamers track targets by their heartbeats, so Alliance soldiers wear "tabs" which broadcast a signal canceling out the wearer's heartbeat and rendering them "invisible" to the machines.
