Ivan Maryadaraman is an Malayalam film directed by Suresh Divakar starring Dileep and Nikki Galrani. The film is produced by Anto Joseph under Anto Joseph Film Company and scripted by Udayakrishna-Siby K. Thomas. This movie is a remake from the 2010 Telugu film Maryada Ramanna, which itself is inspired from Buster Keaton's 1923 silent film, Our Hospitality.
Synopsis
The lead character Raman (Dileep), is an employee in a rice mill in Pune. He used to carry the rice to the mill for processing on a bicycle. Later he decides to buy an auto rickshaw and goes to his village to collect the money that his parents invested in his name in a post office in his hometown 30 years ago. One way to his hometown by train, he befriends a girl krishnendu, who happen's to be his father's arch enemy's daughter. Once he reaches his village he ends up in his father's rivals (krishnendu's) home and later comes to know that they are awaiting to kill him. Raman takes advantage of a tradition of their house that not even one drop of blood should fall inside the house to keep himself alive. Whether or not he comes alive forms rest of the plot of the movie.Actors

Manu Varma (Dileep) lands in Bombay to join an IT firm Quadra Infortek as executive assistant to C.M.O Priya.S. Nair (Mamta Mohandas). He has a B Tech degree and passed with distinction in 2004 but has no work experience until 2013. Priya is shocked seeing his reports and his distinction and asks why chose this job and he says it's because of family problems. Manu's boss Priya is a witch of a woman, an Australian citizen. She abuses her subordinates verbally and pulls them up for the slightest mistake. Manu Varma works his heart out for three months under his cruel boss. Manu Varma is ably supported by an 'all in one' errand boy, Ali. Manu gets his chance to hit back at his boss when she has visa issues and is expecting a promotion to company head.

The film starts with Unni (Dileep), who hails from a royal family, returning from prison. He had killed the son of a large family who are now searching for him. Unni's parents take him to Chennai and enroll him in a law college. There he meets Meenakshi (Rambha) who falls in love with him. Unni had a feud with Meera's brother's gang at the college. Radhakrishnan (Dileep) is dysfunctionally brought up like a girl by his grandmother (Sukumari) who wanted a granddaughter. There by, he becomes effeminate and milquetoast. She calls him Radha, which becomes his nickname. Radha's father Divakaran (Lal) goes to jail for a murder that he accidentally commits. Radha is ridiculed among the people in the village but he is not worried and spends time with the girls singing and teaches dancing. It is the remake of Bollywood film Pyar toh Hona Hi tha. A police officer (Radha Ravi) is on Gopi (Dileep) trail. Gopi is a petty thief and he had stolen a precious chain and is on the run.
