Synopsis
Roy (Jayaram) is a successful architect married to Maya (Padmapriya) with a daughter named Anakha(pet name Anu). Roy decides to take his family on a vacation to Singapore, but Anu insists that they first go to Roy's old home. They agree to go there first, stay for 4 days, and then go to Singapore.Actors

Appu (Jayaram) and Maya (Manju Warrier) were childhood sweethearts, and their parents had agreed to their marriage. Appu is treated by Maya's father as his own son and this makes her uncle jealous of him. Maya's mother belongs a branch of local royal family. However, Maya's life turns upside down when she is identified as the heir to her mother's royal family after her horoscope matched with the qualities that the royal family was looking for. The Maharaja proposed to adopt her as heir princess to continue the lineage. Greed and position, makes her father looking ways to get rid of Appu, who might stand an obstacle and er Uncle then forces her to hate Appu in order for her to marry someone from the royal family. Meanwhile Appu and his best friend Mani (Kalabhavan Mani) try to win her back by disguising himself as Veerandran Varma, nephew of the King whom none of them have seen before, being the son of King's estranged sister Padmini(Sreevidya). In meantime, the real Veerandra Varma (Biju Menon) came to the Palace, on a mission to steal the royal crown. Veerendran Varma was a spoil brat and was a famous rouge in Delhi, earning him the title as Dilliwala Rajakumaran.

Jayaram and Bhavana takes the lead roles as Dr. Ramdas and his wife in the film. Dr. Ramdas is leading medical practitioner in Hyderabad. Fed up with the fast-paced city life, Ramdas and his wife decide to move to a quiet bungalow on the outskirts of the city. Dr. Ramdas, his wife and their two kids are thrilled with the move to a bigger house. Their excitement is short-lived, though. What they encountered there and how it affected their lives in portrayed in the movie. There are some scary stories read out by the villagers to them. Dr Ramdas and his wife get scared and his wife asks to move from that scary house but ramdas don't believe them very much. Their children gets trapped in the hands of a child-eater. the child-eater eats kids, children and poor babies etc. Mrs Ramdas gets scared and calls the police to see a dead man found in another house. The children were thrilled but gets frightened later. After the child-eater's death they starts to live in the same house which follows another scary person who is going to be scarier than the older one.

Jayashankar (Jayaram) is a wholesale vegetable vendor who lives with his mother and only sister Kalyani (Mithra Kurian). The story revolves around Ajayan (Mohanlal), who, after having tried his luck in different cities around the world, comes back to his village to look after his ageing mother Ammukutty Amma (Sheela) and to get her love and the nostalgia of his growing up years. There, he starts a company for producing agricultural equipment and earns his living as a farmer. One day a boy comes and meets Ajayan claiming to be his son. The boy is persuaded by Ammukkty Amma to get close with Ajayan and subsequent events softens Ajayans attitude towards the boy. Ajayan then set forth to enquire about the real identity of the boy and travels to Chennai. He is absolutely sure that he is not his father as the real truth is his stories about adventures with woman were actually lies to get admiration of his friends. The climax show us that Ajayan accepts the boy as his own son.

Julie Ganapathi (Saritha) is a staunch fan of a popular television show, Manga. Over the years, Julie grows to identify herself obsessively with the main character of the show. The author of the series, Tenkasi Balakumaran (Jayaram), leaves his home for a few days to be alone to write the last few episodes of Manga. On his way back home after completing his work, his vehicle gets into an accident which leaves him seriously injured and crippled.
