Vedhicka, Rajkiran and Rahul Dev among other play supporting roles, while the film's score is composed by Bharathwaj. The film released on 9 March 2007 along with a Telugu dubbed version of same name and gained average reviews and box office collections.Later,it was dubbed in Hindi as "Pratisodh-Ek Real Revenge" In 2011, a sequel titled Muni 2: Kanchana was released by Raghava Lawrence. It was the first film in the installment of Muni (film series).
Synopsis
Ganesh (Raghava Lawrence), a young man with a deep fear of ghosts who refuses to even go out after 6pm, moves into a new house with his mother, father and wife not knowing that it is the residence where Muni met his death and where his spirit now resides. Muni enter Ganesh's body and Ganesh starts behaving in a rude manner, his family couldn't understand why his behaviour is weird so they seek the help of a priest (Nasser). Priest asks the ghost about his whereabouts. Ghost says that he is Muniyaandi and starts saying his flashback. Muniyaandi was a kind-hearted poor man living in the slums with his daughter and other people. Muni's friend is Marakka Dhandapani MLA who uses Muni to make him win in elections and promising that he would give lands to poor people. Dhandapani wins the election but he cheats Muni. Muni fights with Dhandapaani but he kills both him and his daughter. Dhandapaani lies to poor people saying that Muni and his Daughter had fled with the money he had given Muni for the welfare of the village residents. Ganesh accepts Muni and he enters his body. Ganesh enters Dhandapaani's household and terrorizes him and his assistants. Dhandapaani comes to know that the spirit of Muni resides in Ganesh's body so he sets a contract killer (Rahul Dev) to finish him. In the climax, at Ayyanaar temple Dhandapaani confesses to people that he only killed Muni. Muni talks to people and eats the feast prepared by his people. Muni then resides again in Ganesh and finishes off Dhandapaani. Ganesh comes back to normal.Actors

Raghava (Lawrence Raghavendra) is a typical jobless youth who spends his days playing cricket with friends. He suffers from an irrational fear of ghosts, and retreats to the safety of his home after sunset. His fear is so great he prefers to sleep with his mother (Kovai Sarala) and have her accompany him to the bathroom at night. This creates major annoyance in the household, including Raghava's brother (Sriman), sister-in-law (Devadarshini) and their children.

The film begins with a couple visiting a friend's home for dinner. To their surprise, the hosts are not home and the place is haunted. In the present, Raghava (Raghava Lawrence) works for the channel Green TV as a cameraman where his crush Nandini (Tapsee Pannu) also works. When Green TV drops down to second position in the ratings, Nandini advises to shoot a horror program to bring their channel back to the No.1 spot. After the board members agree on this plan, Nandini decides on a location with a house with an intense haunted look, without knowing the fact that it is actually haunted. She sets out with Raghava, his watchman Mayil (Mayilsamy), Dr. Prasad (Sriman) and the anchor Pooja (Pooja Ramachandran) to complete the task.

Mass (Nagarjuna Akkineni) is an orphan, who bonds well with his landlord's son Adi (Sunil). He is behind a collegian Anjali (Jyothika) who happens to be the daughter of Vizag city's mafia don Satya (Raghuvaran). This restricts her from falling for him, as it would land him in danger but she finally gives in after some time. She suggests that he ties the knot immediately before her brother (Rahul Dev) and father try separating them. The gangsters in the process kill Mass's best friend Adi, when he tries to stop them when they try separating the lead pair, before their marriage. The hero moves into Vizag and stays in an apartment hiding his identity to take revenge on the mafia dons. Finally his quest for revenge is completed, and also he eliminates the anti-social elements in the society by killing them.

The movie is adapted from the old Hispanic tale "La Llorona" (The Crying Woman). It starts with Beto and his little sister Kika trick-or-treating in the village. The streets were deserted, dark and foggy. Kika was very loudly asking for candies, which made Beto very nervous. While waiting for Kika to come back from a house that was far down the street, Beto spotted an eerie figure going in her direction. In order to save his sister, he called out the ghost's name, "La Llorona"; she heard and went after him. Kika finds Beto missing, looks for him, and finds him just in time to see him taken by La Llorona.

Mallory (Bonamy) is the head of an elite government-run strike force dedicated to combating the supernatural. Her team includes the drag queen Vena Cava (Ribier), an explosives expert; a mute, pre-teen telepath capable of possessing others named Talking Tina (Barès); and an armed governmental agent named Durand (Perkins-Lyautey). They are dispatched to protect a convent from an assault by a pack of undead monsters when they are attacked by an unknown assailant. The battle leaves Durand dead, Vena Cava injured, and Tina in a coma. Simultaneously, the newly elected pope (Spielvogel) is kidnapped by strange, masked attackers who resist the bullets of the pope's bodyguards. Mallory is approached to rescue the pope, a job she reluctantly accepts when she realizes there may be a connection between her team's assailant and the pope's kidnappers.
