Synopsis
Alexandros Makris (Giannis Tsilivakos), a student in an Athens school dies from a drugs overdose. His father, Giannis Makris (Giannis Voglis), will try to uncover the drug dealers responsible for his only child's death and take revenge for it.Actors

Giorgos Merkos (Giórgos Foúndas) est lieutenant de police. Il a tellement de travail qu'il ne peux trouver le temps de rencontrer les parents de sa fiancée Anna. Alors qu'il doit se rendre chez eux, il arrête un criminel et commence une autre enquête, sur le meurtre d'une femme d'âge mûr, Julia. Il soupçonne le jeune mari de celle-ci, Alekos Petratos mais ce dernier était dans le train de Thessalonique au moment du meurtre et la tante de la victime est allée le chercher à la gare. Giorgos Merkos ne croit pas à cet alibi et réussit finalement à confondre le mari. Plus tard, il est persuadé que le demi-frère d'Anna, Dimitris Naskos, est coupable d'un viol. Durant son arrestation, Dimitris cherche à s'enfuir. Il est tué par Giorgos. Il s'avère alors que Dimitris était innocent. Giorgos démissionne et perd sa fiancée.

Rumous have it that a Swiss company is making investment plans to develop a Greek island. A couple of Athenian enterpreneurs rush to the island to buy land and flip it for profit. The Athenian couple, a race-car driver and an actress, meet the resistance of the island's grand old lady who does not wish to sell land to outsiders. The business plans eventually fail to materialise but romance ensues between the actress and the son of the lady as well as the race-car driver and a local girl. The film has references to ancient Greek tragedy and contains elements from it such as a chorus.

Alexandre (Giulio Brogi), metteur en scène, est à la recherche d'un vieil acteur. Il le trouve chez un vendeur de légumes. Le film peut commencer. Alexandre accueille son père Spyros (Manos Katrakis), ancien résistant, de retour d'URSS après trente-deux années d'exil forcé. L'amnistie a en effet été prononcée après la chute de la dictature des colonels en 1974. Spyros retrouve sa femme, Katerina (Dora Volanaki). Puis il retrouve son village, sa maison et quelques anciens camarades. Mais Spyros a beaucoup de mal à comprendre le temps écoulé. L'idée-même du retour qu'il a chérie durant 32 ans est devenue intangible. Seule son épouse semble le comprendre.
