Kaasi (Jagapathi Babu) an easy naughty guy, who always tell lies for his survival. Kaasi and his friends start a music-troop. Swapna (Raasi), his childhood friend, returns after many years. After she joins the group, everyone is excited, especially Kaasi, who secretly loves Swapna. The only other person who knows this secret is his sister (Raga). As Swapna joins the group, they start hunting opportunities to make it big in the music world. Sanjay (Rahul), another band member, son of a millionaire (Music Director Chakravarthy) and Kaasi's best friend, is Kaasi's antithesis in nearly everything.

The film begins with Jayanthi (Jayasudha) gives birth to baby boy Chinna (Master Prabhu) in jail. Since Jayanti is a life imprisonment prisoner, she keeps sentry Shantamma (Nirmalamma) as her son's guardian. Papa Rao (Kota Srinivasa Rao) maternal uncle to Jayanthi and his Hari (Srihari) always harasses Jayanti for her property. Krishna (Jagapathi Babu) a chronic bachelor, who hates women because his elder brother Krishna Mohan Rao (Raja) is killed by his lover. Radha (Soundarya) a young and beautiful girl falls in love with Krishna, but he rejects her love because of his hatred on women. After some time, Krishna also understands her love when Radha tries to commit suicide. Meanwhile, Chinna grows up 10-year old boy and Shantamma is getting old day-by-day Jayanti decides to hand over Chinna's responsibility to Krishna. Shantamma says Chinna that Krishna is his father, from that day Chinna follows him like white on rice, torches him a lot and also spoils marriage life of Krishna and Radha.
