It is the story of a music lover named Kishore (Prosenjit Chatterjee), he belonged to a poor family. He wanted to learn music from a person named Shankar Maharaj (Soumitra Chatterjee), who stopped teaching music because his students ditched him after learning music and violated his instructions. His daughter Ontora (Rituparna Sengupta) helped Kishore to learn music by employing him as a maid in their house. They fell in love with each other. When Shankar Maharaj, came to know about the fact, he asked Kishore to break this relation as a token of his teaching. The story is as Ranjan went to jail against a false allegation. His father became mad and roamed in the streets. His uncle Sanatan made a conspiracy and as a result, all these accidents happened.
