Synopsis
Member Prabakaran (Jayaram) is a Gandhian and Panchayat Member in Thonnurkara village who always thinks about the welfare of the people. He is willing to fight against the ruling party as well as with the opposition when he sees injustice being done. Such a selfless politician naturally earns more enemies than friends and his enemies join hands against him.Actors

Parthasarathy (Jayaram, popularly called Parthan, lives in Krishnapuram village. Parthan is constantly clashing with his uncle Falgunan Thampy (Jagathy Sreekumar), who is the Panchayath President. Falgunan is least bothered about the welfare of the people; rather, he is more keen in grabbing the assets of the village temple, which has been locked for many years by the court over a dispute of ownership. Falgunan, also the secretary of temple's ruling committee, believes that the temple belongs to his family, while Parthan and his friends like Sulaiman (Kottayam Nazeer) and Poonkodi (Sona) argue that the temple belongs to the village.

Swapna Sanchari revolves around the gulf-returned Ajaychandran Nair (Jayaram). He has a lovely wife (Samvrutha Sunil) and a 9th standard daughter ( Anu Emmanuel) who does not speak more. His father (Innocent) believes in old ways. The movie tracks his ups in life in the first half, where he returns from Gulf with a huge pocket. He dreams of earning a big name in the society, thus buys a Mercedes-Benz, an old theatre, land in front of panchayat hall, promised hefty contributions for community hall and several other charitable organizations where he can put his name in front. He undertakes running the village festival completely by himself to earn a big name. Thus he dreams big but falls short in no time after his business in Dubai falls down. In no time Ajaychandran reduces nothing to big zero. The movie sketches the plot of those who falls into debt due to show-off.

Jiya, daughter of James and Lisa and grand daughter of Mrs. Koshi, who enjoyed her teenage like a 'white feather' (Vellathooval). She is very conservative and have her own views. Manu gets fed up with his life. After his father's death, his mother marries Vijayaraghavan. He is always drunk and tortures Manu and his mom. So Manu fights with him and leaves home. He thinks he could become a murderer if he stays at home. Meantime Jiya also leaves her home. She goes with Manu. Manu advices jiya to go back to home many times, but she didn't agree with him. Simultaneously Jiya and Manu were becoming very good friends but the society misunderstood them and considered them lovers. Her uncle the City Police Commissioner Abi (K B Ganesh kumar) and his teams search every corners for them. At last Jiya injures a young college mate Willy in the stomach. He dies in the hospital. Willy's friends and police follow Jiya and Manu.

Anwar (Anand Michael) is a final year medical student in Bangalore and Sajna (Meera Jasmine) studies in a local professional college. They are cousins and their marriage had been fixed in childhood. Sajna's college-mate Ameer (Munna) falls in love with her. Sajna tries to explain her situation about being engaged and even insults him for being poor but in vain. Jagathy Sreekumar - Kumar Kubera (Kumaran) and Oduvil Unnikrishnan - Prabhakara Prabhu (Prabhakaran)are former friends, business rivals and bitter enemies. Snehalatha asks for a gold necklace made of 10 pavans (sovereigns) as a symbol of Bhaskaran's love. Bhaskaran makes a necklace and hands it over to Snehalatha. Udayananu Tharam is the story of Udayabhanu (Mohanlal), a worshipper of films and an immensely talented assistant film director, who yearns to write and direct his own movie at a time when the industry is filled with dubious filmmakers. Rajappan Thengummoodu (Sreenivasan) is a rather crooked friend of Udayabhanu and an aspiring and failed actor. As Udayabhanu finally prepares to shoot his first movie based on his own script, he discovers to his horror that Rajappan has stolen his manuscript, and shooting is underway with Rajappan playing the lead, which eventually propels him to stardom. Udhayabhanu soon finds himself faced with a career and personal crisis, with his faltering relations with his superstar wife Madhumati (Meena Durairaj) contributing to the latter.
