The film deals with the life and aspirations of ajoy(Soham Chakraborty), a needy but meritorious Youngman, though he had been the district topper in his school leaving exam yet he had to leave his studies and go to kolkata to work in a college, ajoy had been too stunned but had decided to sacrifice his dreams for his family, he had worked hard and even taken care of the garage owner. So after his death he became the owner of the garage. He brought his family to kolkata and tried to fulfil even the smallest of their needs. Through an accident he came close to businessman's family he through them acquired a chance for his brother an aspiring cricketer. The younger brother is chosen / selected for the ranji trophy team. In the meantime the young daughter(Sayantani Ghosh) of the business man has fallen in love with ajoy(Prosenjit Chatterjee). Younger brother gets a job they shift into a mansion their lifestyle changes, though ajoy and his father cannot keep pace with them their sister(Meghna) gets to work in a music album through younger brother's connections she gets involved with the man. Younger brother in need of rs 10 lakh for training abroad. Asks ajoy for it he expresses inability brother disheartened mother asks him to borrow from girlfriend's family. Sikha needed '30,000 rupees' immediately. So they are became a fake husband-wife and came to Balohari's home. Balohari's family liked them. Then they stayed at Balohari's home. One day Tablu watched Pradip(Prosenjit Chatterjee) and Disha leave a market. He was very angry. In the mean time Sikha fell in love with Pradip(Prosenjit Chatterjee). Pradip(Prosenjit Chatterjee) came to Balohari's factory and caught Balohari's cashier who was stealing things from Bolohari's factory. Then Disha sang a song in a competition and won. Sikha tried to stop Pradip to leave Balohari's home. Sikha informed her father to send her back. Disha was missing. They also thought Pradip had kidnapped his daughter. Here we find the story of a middle-class family struggling financially. The family consists of two sisters, mother and father. Prosenjit Chatterjee as a Rana is the main and a promising character here. We find him to be a daredevil and a terrific fighter against injustice. Once he was travelling with his pregnant sister in a train, he begged everybody for a seat for his sister to sit, but no one paid heed to it. There were some burglars in the train who started looting but Rana saved it from happening. By this act of his he was given the job of a police officer. In Rana's area of jurisdiction there lived an MLA name Bikas. He was a very corrupt politician and indulged in all illegal activities. There lived another man Azad who fought against injustice everywhere. Now this minister's girl Jaya, fell in love with Rana. Once it so happened that while Rana's sister was about to give birth to her child, this minister, Bikas, tried to kill Rana, but his sister was injured and ultimately died. Then Rana decided to take revenge but was initially not allowed to do so. Ultimately MLA Bikas's real character was revealed and in a serious fighting with Rana MLA Bikas dies. The story is Abhimanyu is raised by his single mom. His cruel ruthless father who left his mother for a rich man's daughter he sorts out to seek revenge. One day Arjun is mugged, and nearly killed when Abhi saves him. Arjun's son Prodipto is a budding musician who returns from abroad and his luggage is exchanged with another girl named Chandra. Chandra and Dipu fall in love. Chandra's elder sister Subhra is a hardworking honest girl who works hard to earn a living. She works in the company owned by Arjun. She meets Abhi and they like each other. Subhra is accused of dishonesty by Arjun for a fault she has not committed and she quits her job. One of Sagar's hands got paralyzed in an accident, in an attempt to save his mother. He and his younger brother Rahul worked in a factory. Rahul was married to Swapna, who started smuggling the factory goods illegally. When the whole matter came to light, Sagar took the blame on himself, despite of knowing the real fact. The only result was Sagar's losing the job. Later, when Sagar went to Rahul for borrowing some money due to his mother's ill health, he was harassed by his brother and an embarrassed Sagar returned empty-handed. Sagar loved Pakhi, but Pakhi's mother opposed their affair. She saw this situation as a golden opportunity to separate the two lovers. She made a deal with Sagar that she would give him the money required for his mother's treatment, but in return, he should forget Pakhi. Meanwhile, Sagar's father stole some money from Rahul without his knowing it, and it only resulted in a series of abuse made by Rahul to Sagar. A this situation, Pakhi and her father stopped a violent clash by saying that Sagar's father had not stolen the money and that, the money was borrowed from them. The film ends as Rahul's father confesses his deeds and all the misunderstandings are mutually solved. The family leads a happy life thereafter.
