The film stars Nandamuri Balakrishna as the protagonist in a dual role. It also stars Nayantara and Sneha Ullal in the other lead roles, Adithya Menon and Sai Kumar as the antagonists and Namitha, Kota Srinivasa Rao, K. R. Vijaya and Rahman in supporting roles. The film features original soundtrack by Chakri, art direction by A. S. Prakash, cinematography by Arthur Wilson and editing by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao. The film was released on 30 April 2010 and received positive reviews from critics. The film was a massive success at the box office and went on to became the highest grosser of 2010 in Tollywood. The film also achieved the distinction of being one of the highest-grossing films in the Telugu Film Industry. Balakrishna received the Nandi Award for Best Actor for this film, his second after his 2001 film Narasimha Naidu. The film was subsequently dubbed and released in Hindi under the same name.
Synopsis
Srimannarayana (Nandamuri Balakrishna) is a lecturer in a Hyderabad-based college and lives with his grandmother (K. R. Vijaya). He does not tolerate injustice anywhere and mercilessly beats up people who dare to break the law, a personality which makes him feared and respected among others. A female lecturer Maheswari (Namitha) is attracted to him, though he doesn't reciprocate her feelings. While beating up a goon who threatened to acid attack|throw acid on a girl after she spurned his advances, he accidentally punches a comatose man on the head, waking him from his 28-year coma. This man's name is Veerakesavudu (Sai Kumar).Actors

Lord Srirama (Nandamuri Balakrishna) retains his wife Sita (Nayantara) comes back to their kingdom Ayodhya, after killing Ravana. SRK (Sayaji Shinde) is a real estate contractor. He uses muscle power to encroach land and make money. His business rival Gopala Krishna "GK" (Nagarjuna) is the 'Boss' of GK Constructions. GK has the power to handle goons as well as the real estate business. He calls for applications from MBA graduates as his personal secretary. None of the applicants reaches his expectations. He accidentally meets Anuradha "Anu" (Nayantara) and thinks that she is fit for the job. As a 'Boss' he is tough with his staff but has lots of concern over them. During a trip to Malaysia, Anu and GK get closer and Anu loses her heart to GK. When she is about to confess her love, Anu gets involved in a petty issue and faces the wrath of GK. Consequently, she requested to resign from her job, while she is on duty for her last one month, GK calls for interviews for his personal secretary again and zeroes in on Sruthi (Poonam Bajwa). It is revealed that she was planted in GK's office by SRK. In order to get her father Rammurthy released from a false case, Sruthi steals a tender file. However, she does not hand it over to SRK and demands her father's release. The crooked SRK does not listen to her. At this juncture, she tries to escape from the scene and is saved by GK at the insistence of Anu. However, Anu is injured in the attack by goons in the process, but goes straight to the Tenders office and files the tender to save GK from a huge loss and to fulfill his ambition of securing his dream project. When GK is about to thank her, she admits her love for him, only to learn of his past. In the flashback, GK reveals that he loved Sanjana (Shriya) and married her. She died in a tsunami shortly after. He says he can't replace Sanjana. GK refuses Anu's love politely. As time goes by, Sanjana's mother Sumitra (Sumalatha) dies of illness in Malaysia and her husband Viswanath (Nasar) tells GK that her last wish is the marriage of GK with Anu. GK also gets a feeling that Sanjana also wants the same. He returns to India and unites with Anu and the film ends on a happy note.

There are two neighboring villages in Rayalaseema. Goons head one village and Raghupati Naidu (K Vishwanath) is heading another village. As Raghupati Naidu is peace-loving, his village is dogged by the misdeeds of goons from the neighboring village. In order to save the future of his village, Raghupati Naidu asks one male kid from each family to be given for the purpose of saving the village. Raghupati Naidu selected his fourth son Narasimha Naidu as his family's contribution towards the security of the village. All these kids will be trained and prepared to protect the village. After 15 years, Anjali (Preeti Jhangiani), the niece of Jaya Prakash, who happens to be from the goons' village who later settled in another village. Narasimha Naidu sets up a naatya ashram to teach classical dance to the students. Anjali falls in love with Narasimha Naidu at the first sight. Anjali joins Narasimha Naidu as the student and tries to make Narasimha Naidu fall in love with her.
