Add to a movie listSimha (English: Lion) is a 2010 Tollywood action film directed by Boyapati Srinu and produced by Paruchuri Kireeti under the United Movies banner. The film stars Nandamuri Balakrishna as the protagonist in a dual role. It also stars Nayantara and Sneha Ullal in the other lead roles, Adithya Menon and Sai Kumar as the antagonists and Namitha, Kota Srinivasa Rao, K. R. Vijaya and Rahman in supporting roles. The film features original soundtrack by Chakri, art direction by A. S. Prakash, cinematography by Arthur Wilson and editing by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao. The film was released on 30 April 2010 and received positive reviews from critics. The film was a massive success at the box office and went on to became the highest grosser of 2010 in Tollywood. The film also achieved the distinction of being one of the highest-grossing films in the Telugu Film Industry. Balakrishna received the Nandi Award for Best Actor for this film, his second after his 2001 film Narasimha Naidu. The film was subsequently dubbed and released in Hindi under the same name.
Synopsis
Srimannarayana (Nandamuri Balakrishna) is a lecturer in a Hyderabad-based college and lives with his grandmother (K. R. Vijaya). He does not tolerate injustice anywhere and mercilessly beats up people who dare to break the law, a personality which makes him feared and respected among others. A female lecturer Maheswari (Namitha) is attracted to him, though he doesn't reciprocate her feelings. While beating up a goon who threatened to acid attack|throw acid on a girl after she spurned his advances, he accidentally punches a comatose man on the head, waking him from his 28-year coma. This man's name is Veerakesavudu (Sai Kumar).Actors

Lord Srirama (Nandamuri Balakrishna) retains his wife Sita (Nayantara) comes back to their kingdom Ayodhya, after killing Ravana. Krishna (Nandamuri Balakrishna) lives in Dubai while his family is in India. His grandmother is against him who settled in India. Krishna falls for Sneha (Sonal Chauhan) and comes to India to seek the blessings of his grandmother. Jitender (Jagapati Babu) is a man with pride and haughtiness. He cannot tolerate anyone who comes across his way. Once, he goes to a nearby village for a marriage proposal to him. There he gets involved in a quarrel with the village headman (Suman) due to some unfortunate events and gets jailed. From then onwards, he tries to take revenge on that family. Krishna's elder brother Jai Dev The Legend (Nandamuri Balakrishna) who remained exiled obeying his grandmother, saves them and Krishna is admitted in a hospital. Then the past is revealed that twenty years back there was a quarrel between Jai Dev and Jitender in which Jai Dev's cousin (Radhika Apte) whom he loved was killed by Jitender. At present, he comes to know that Jitender is going to become Chief Minister of the state.How he stops Jitender from claiming this throne forms the rest of the story.

There are two neighboring villages in Rayalaseema. Goons head one village and Raghupati Naidu (K Vishwanath) is heading another village. As Raghupati Naidu is peace-loving, his village is dogged by the misdeeds of goons from the neighboring village. In order to save the future of his village, Raghupati Naidu asks one male kid from each family to be given for the purpose of saving the village. Raghupati Naidu selected his fourth son Narasimha Naidu as his family's contribution towards the security of the village. All these kids will be trained and prepared to protect the village. After 15 years, Anjali (Preeti Jhangiani), the niece of Jaya Prakash, who happens to be from the goons' village who later settled in another village. Narasimha Naidu sets up a naatya ashram to teach classical dance to the students. Anjali falls in love with Narasimha Naidu at the first sight. Anjali joins Narasimha Naidu as the student and tries to make Narasimha Naidu fall in love with her.
