Srinivasa Kalyanam (Telugu: శ్రీనివాస కళ్యాణం) is a 1987 Telugu film directed by Kodi Ramakrishna and produced by K. Murari on Yuva Chitra Arts. The film stars Venkatesh, Bhanupriya, Gouthami and Mohan Babu played the lead roles, with original soundtrack by KV Mahadevan.

Synopsis
Srinivas (Venkatesh) an educated unemployed guy, he and his sister Lakshmi (Varalakshmi) lost their parents in childhood for saving a landlord Sridhar Rao (Vankayala) and stay with their uncle Nagayah (Suthi Velu) who is a chronic drinker, takes out all money given by Sridhar Rao and sells them. Srinivas cousin Saroja (Gouthami), daughter of Nagayah helps them to get away from that place and she stays back. They have been adopted by a couple (Gollapudi Maruthi Rao & Y.Vijaya) in the city. Srinivas does all kinds of jobs like newspaper delivery boy, auto driver and runs a dance school, where he gets introduced to Lalitha (Bhanupriya) who will be looking for a job staying at her sister's (Anitha) house and her brother-in-law Yenimdakula Venkatrao (Prasad Babu) who is a bad person. Srinivas gives Lalitha job in his dance school and both of them fall in love. Meanwhile, Saroja changed her name as Swapna comes to rent in Srinivas house only without knowing that he is his cousin.Actors

Bose (Venkatesh) an unemployed guy, once met with an accident and admitted in hospital. There he meets a TB patient Raghu (Vasanth) who is going to die in few days, both of them becomes good friends. Raghu tells Bose regarding his past, he is the son of Dupathi Seshamma (Nirmalamma) very big landlords in a village. Raghu used to do a lot of mischief in childhood, one day his friend Seenu dies because of his mistake and he runs away from home. After listening to his story, Bose tells him to go back to his village since he will not live for many days he sends Bose in his place.

Gopi (Chiranjeevi) is a music master brought up by Satyanarayana and Nutan prasad in a village. He wants to become a police constable. Surya Chandra Rao (Kota Srinivasa Rao) is a rich man in the village with his daughter Radha (Bhanupriya) who is head strong and proud of her riches. In a brawl with Gopi, she seeks revenge and acts as his disciple wanting to learn music and later accuses him of attempting to rape her with the help of new SI of the village Asirayya (Mohan Babu) but later realises her mistake and his good nature and falls in love with him. Though reluctant to marry her, Gopi is convinced to accept her into his life and they marry. Surya Chandra Rao is enraged by this and sends a goon to kill him and in a fight the goon loses and Gopi leaves him at Surya Chandra Rao's house warning him not to enter his life again. The goon is killed by Surya Chandra Rao and Gopi is accused of his murder and is put in jail. The rest of the story forms on how Gopi proves his innocence and how he brings the villains to justice.

Sreedevi (Shalini) is a daughter of Kiranmayi (Jayasudha), a mad woman. Everyone makes fun of Sreedevi for not knowing who her father is, and the doctor says that her mother can become normal only when she sees the person who is responsible for her pregnancy. Pedarayudu (Mohanbabu) is a very kind-hearted, disciplined man. He sits on the ancestral throne in his village to do justice (similar to panchayat). He hears all the cases and gives solutions and punishments to the wrong-doers. His wife, Bhanupriya admires and respects him a lot. His brothers Mohanbabu and Raja Ravindra fear for him and also have a lot of respect for him as he has brought them up as his children. The young Mohanbabu marries Soundarya, daughter of an industrialist Satyanarayana. She at first never liked Pedarayudu and her husband for being so timid before his brother but later transforms after knowing his greatness from her father.Raja Ravindra loves his paternal cousin(Anandaraj)'s daughter. In the flashback, Paparayudu(Rajanikanth) father of Pedarayudu orders Anandaraj to marry his servant's daughter whom he raped, though he is his sister(Jayanthi)'s son. His brother-in-law(Chalapathi Rao) shoots at him as he is disappointed by his verdict.Enraged Paparayudu gives his final verdict before dying to abandon their family and whoever visits his house will receive the same punishment and also not to share even a glass of water with them. Anandaraj from then builds envy on his uncle's family and waits for an opportunity to take revenge on them. He plans to bring a lady (Subhashri) as a teacher to the school in the village and tells her to make young Mohanbabu fall for her. She does so to save her father who is in the hands of Anandaraj. He kills her and makes the villagers believe that Mohanbabu has done this. Pedarayudu sentences 10 years of exile for his brother's family. Now Anandaraj comes to know of his daughter's love and tries to kill Raja Ravindra with the help of his goons. Mohanbabu goes in rescue of him and pregnant Soundarya goes to Pedarayudu to convey this message. Jayanthi rushes to Pedarayudu and reveals the truth and tells that he punished his brother without committing any mistake. Mohanbabu takes revenge on Anandaraj and pedarayudu dies on knowing that he gave a wrong verdict. Now Mohanbabu is shown taking the ancestral throne from his brother.
