The Diplomat is a documentary film released in 2015 which features Ambassador Richard Holbrooke, "a young foreign service officer in Vietnam in the early 1960s", whose career continued for fifty years. His role within the Obama administration was as a "special representative" for Afghanistan and Pakistan. The documentary's perspective is from Holbrooke's son.
