In 2068, the New World Aircraft Corporation (NWAC) provides Brains, the inventor of the Thunderbird machines of the humanitarian International Rescue organisation, with an open brief to design a revolutionary aircraft. Although Brains is ridiculed when he proposes an airship for the 21st century, NWAC accepts his blueprints and builds Skyship One, which will circumnavigate the world on its maiden flight with pre-programmed stopover destinations. Alan, Tin-Tin, Lady Penelope and Parker will represent International Rescue as special guests. Brains, meanwhile, is forced to remain on Tracy Island when Jeff decides that International Rescue requires a Thunderbird 6. Contracted to design this latest addition to the Thunderbirds fleet with no specification, Brains produces a range of concepts, all of which are rejected by Jeff.

Six ans après les événements du premier film (Les Mondes de Ralph), Ralph La Casse et Vanellope restent toujours les meilleurs amis du monde et s'amusent chaque nuit à jouer ensemble. Alors que Ralph est heureux de la vie qu'il a, Vanellope avoue être ennuyée par son jeu, qui est trop prévisible, et aimerait de la nouveauté. Un jour, Ralph essaie d'exaucer son souhait en créant une course bonus dans l'un des circuits. Vanellope va contre la joueuse de la borne d'arcade pour profiter de la course à fond, tant et si bien que la joueuse, en forçant trop sur le volant, le casse. La situation paraît désespérée lorsque le propriétaire de la salle d'arcade, M. Litwak, annonce que le créateur de Sugar Rush a fait faillite, quand l'un des adolescents trouve un volant sur eBay. Cependant, M. Litwak le trouve trop cher et n'a d'autre choix que de débrancher la borne de Sugar Rush, laissant tous les personnages du jeu sans abri.

L'intrigue est située dans le futur, en 2004, et se déroule dans un pays fictif d'Europe centrale appelé Peraustrínia, entièrement consacré à la science et aux technologies. Gohan, Krillin, Bulma, and Oolong are spending a peaceful day camping, but that night a huge fire breaks out in the nearby forest. Using their ki, Krillin and Gohan put out the fire and use the Dragon Balls to restore the forest. Unbeknownst to our heroes, the fire was started by a space probe landing. The next morning the space pod begins scouting the area and it is soon revealed that it was sent by a Saiyan, Turles, who has chosen the Earth to plant the Shinseiju (lit. “Tree of Godly Might”). The Shinseiju absorbs the world’s energy, storing it in its fruit, and whoever eats it is granted godlike power.

While looking at the Dragon Radar, Oolong notices that all of the Dragon Balls are starting to be gathered together. He and Gohan, who were also searching for the Dragon Balls, head out to investigate and end up at the Tsurumai-Tsuburi Mountains’ eternal wall of ice, where coincidentally, Piccolo is also training. Dr. Kochin summons Shenron and wishes for Dr. Wheelo’s lab to be released from the ice. The ice begins to break away and a building emerges. Gohan and Oolong look on in disbelief, when they are suddenly attacked by Dr. Kochin’s Biomen. Piccolo shows up to save Gohan, but is overcome by three mysterious fighters, while Gohan and Oolong escape.
