Thee (Fire) is a Tamil movie starring Sundar C, Namitha and Ramya Raj in the lead roles. It was co-written, co-produced and directed by G. Kicha. The film was released on 27 February 2009. The film was a remake of the Telugu film Operation Duryodhana.
Synopsis
The story begins with Sarathy (Sundar.C) who is a tough and honest cop and given his straightforward nature, he is the thorn in the flesh for many antisocial elements and also the politicians. Due to this, he keeps getting transferred from time to time, however, Sarathy has no qualms about it since he is happily married with a lovely wife Ganga (Ragini). Sarathy's life however takes a turn when he arrests a corrupt MLA (G M Kumar) and his men which leads the politician to quit the field. He vows revenge and kills Ganga and their two children's and also frames Sarathy in a case. But his wife escapes and Sarathy admit her in a hospital in serious condition. This enrages Sarathy so much that he decides to take a different route, he becomes Saami and with the help of a top hot actress Ruchi Devi ( Namitha), he obtains a political ticket and successfully becomes an MLA. His wife gives birth to a child and dies in the hospital. From then on, he begins his corrupt acts and in such a way that the entire society begins to loathe the police force. In no time, the police are vexed and decide to go on an indefinite strike. The entire system comes to a halt and things begin to get messy. Saami then strikes hard at the former MLA who kills Ganga and what happens from there forms the rest of the story.Actors

Kopple initially intended to make a film about Kenzie, Miners for Democracy and the attempt to unseat Tony Boyle. When miners at the Brookside Mine in Harlan County, Kentucky went on strike in June 1972, Kopple went there to film the strike against Duke Power Company which the UMWA had helped to organize. The strike proved a more interesting subject, so Kopple switched the focus of her film.

Seventeen-year-old Jack "Cowboy" Kelly (Christian Bale), is one of the hundreds of homeless and orphaned children who sell newspapers in New York City during the 1890s to support themselves. The boys hit the streets of New York each morning, getting breakfast from nuns and heading toward the paper distribution center ("Carrying the Banner"). One morning at the distribution center, Jack meets David "Davey" Jacobs (David Moscow), who has joined the newsies along with his younger brother, Les. Jack notices that David is smart and well-spoken and that Les has a certain marketable cuteness to him, and he takes up a partnership with them in order to sell more papers and in turn earn more money.

1977. Dans la petite ville fictive de Sainte-Gudule, située dans le Nord, près de Saint-Amand-les-Eaux, l'usine de parapluies Pujol-Michonneau est dirigée par un patron réactionnaire et misogyne, Monsieur Pujol (Fabrice Luchini), qui a épousé la fille Michonneau, Suzanne (Catherine Deneuve). Cette dernière, surnommée « la potiche » par sa propre fille, supporte sans broncher le mauvais caractère, les vexations et les infidélités de son mari, notamment la relation qu’il entretient avec sa secrétaire, Nadège (Karin Viard). Pujol est excédé par le climat social exécrable qui règne dans son usine. Le député-maire communiste de la ville, Maurice Babin (Gérard Depardieu) ne se prive pas de souffler sur les braises. Un jour les ouvriers déclenchent une grève sans préavis qui débouche sur la séquestration de Pujol. Il fait une grave attaque cardiaque. Dans l'attente de son rétablissement, sa « potiche » de femme décide, à la surprise générale, de prendre la direction de l'entreprise. Et, à la surprise générale, elle s'en tire plutôt bien.
