Synopsis
Pitamber Kohli lives an upper middle class existence with his wife, & two brothers, Yeshwant and Pratap. The trio get in the bad books of an underworld don named Swami, who soon they launches a vendetta against them. As a result, Pitamber is killed, and both Yeshwant and Pratap swear to avenge his death. Pratap joins the police force, and steps up his efforts to nab Swami at any cost, to no avail, and he ends up getting suspended from his duties. Then Swami makes his move - Pratap's sister and brother-in-law are abducted and held at gunpoint. When Yeshwant goes to rescue them, he is gunned down. Now Pratap, the only remaining Kohli brother, is the only target of Swami.Actors

Uttar Pradesh-based Vishal gets a telegram from Santa Cruz Police Station that his younger collegian brother, Arjun, is dead. Ganga (Govinda) and Gauri (Karishma Kapoor) are in love but the young lovers are not permitted to marry. One night they run away, finding themselves in the den of an evil sage (Puneet Issar) who is trying to coerce the Lord of the Snakes (Nitish Bharadwaj) into giving him a gem he needs to make the nectar which will give him immortality. This event can only happen on this one night of the full moon, which comes only once ever twenty five years. But the young lovers defend the Snake and destruct the Sage's plan. The angry sage turns Gauri to a stone and unable to withstand the shock, Gangwa passes away. But the magical snake saves the day by proclaiming that Gangwa will be reborn, still with love in his heart for Gauri, and twenty five years later they will find each other again.

All round bad guy Bakhtawar (Danny Denzongpa) rules over the docks in Mumbai, treating his workers as slaves and killing anyone who dares to go against his despotic will. The movie revolves around the fact that you reap what you sow. Gangaram Verma has worked for the local municipality for several years, and is known in the community for being honest. Many contractor's have attempted to bribe him but never succeeded. During a felicitation ceremony for GangaRam, he rejects a garland of 1Lac rupees from one of the contractor's Prem Kumar. So Prem kumar decides to teach Gangaram a lesson. He hires Gangaram's only son, Vijay (who worships Lakshmi and hates being poor), in his office, and subsequently gets him married to his only daughter, Sapna. In course of time, they have a son Ravi. They then scheme to get Gangaram to trust them by showing Ravi, and upon doing so, they get him to sign his property to them As Ravi gets more attached to grandparents and also because Vijay and Sapna have got the property they make Gangaram and his wife, Laxmi, homeless. They then lie to Ravi that his grandparents are dead. Years go by, then one day Ravi comes across a coolie who resembles his grandfather.

Akelinder or Bhangari Dada (Kader Khan) has a shop at Chor bazaar which he runs illegally, he lives with his wife and only daughter Kiran (Raveena Tandon). Bhangari wants his daughter to be married to a gangster, so he begins his search.
