DeVito was born in New York City and grew up in Los Angeles, California, along with her sister Grace DeVito (born March 1985) and her brother Jacob DeVito (born October 1987). Her father is a Catholic of Italian descent, and her mother is Jewish. She starred as Anne Frank in a production of Anne Frank at the Intiman Theatre in Seattle, Washington, in 2008. Sans que ses amis et compagnons d'aventures de l'épisode 2, Bethany, Fridge et Martha, ne soient au courant, Spencer a conservé les morceaux du jeu vidéo Jumanji dans le sous-sol de la maison de sa mère. De retour pour les vacances, alors qu'il mène une vie d'étudiant difficile à New-York et qu'il est contraint de partager sa chambre avec son grand-père convalescent, il répare le système et est happé par le jeu. Le lendemain, ses amis, avec qui il avait rendez-vous pour un brunch, passent chez lui prendre de ses nouvelles, ne l'y trouvent pas, mais constatent que le jeu en est en cours dans la cave de Spencer : tous décident de rentrer dans Jumanji pour le sauver. Le grand-père de Spencer, Eddie, et son ami Milo Walker entendent le chahut et se laissent entraîner par inadvertance dans le jeu et deviennent deux des avatars de Jumanji. Les amis adolescents doivent aider Eddie et Milo à s’habituer à leurs avatars du jeu, les aider à retrouver Spencer et à s'échapper à nouveau de Jumanji (ce qui n'est pas une tâche facile étant donné qu'il s'agit du niveau supérieur).

Au début des années 1990, l'auteure Lee Israel peine à renouer avec le succès de ses premiers livres. Sa nouvelle biographie sur Estée Lauder est un véritable échec. Dotée d'un caractère acariâtre et anticonformiste, elle ne fait rien pour s'adapter aux contraintes du monde littéraire et se brouille avec son éditeur. Elle sombre alors dans le syndrome de la page blanche et dans l'alcoolisme. Pressée par le manque d'argent, elle se résigne à vendre une lettre de Katharine Hepburn qu'elle avait encadrée. Elle va alors se découvrir un « don » : imiter à la perfection le style de grands écrivains et autres célébrités. Avec son ami Jack Hock, un homosexuel fantasque, elle monte une arnaque imparable, qui consiste à rédiger de fausses correspondances entre personnalités célèbres. Jack vend ensuite ces fausses lettres à des libraires de Greenwich Village, qui alimentent un marché florissant de collectionneurs passionnés. Mais les deux compères ne savent pas que le FBI s’intéresse désormais à eux.

A young man named Scat comes up with a new idea for a drink after he drops his drink and swears, calling it 'FUKK'. He goes to Addison Cola Company where he maneuvers a meeting with a formidable marketing executive, Six, by triggering the fire alarm.
