Steven Ray Wiig (born December 30, 1972) is an American film actor, director, producer and musician. He appears in the films Into the Wild under director (and Academy Award-winning actor) Sean Penn, Some Kind of Monster, directed by Joe Berlinger and Bruce Sinofsky, Gus Van Sant's San Francisco-based film Milk and Paul Thomas Anderson's The Master. He is the drummer in the band Papa Wheelie, fronted by former Metallica member Jason Newsted. Wiig is the primary songwriter in his band The Martichora (all instruments) along with Rich Doucette.
Close friend and longtime Executive Personal Assistant to Metallica's founder and drummer Lars Ulrich. Wiig attended Northern Michigan University.
Currently resides in Sausalito, Marin County, California is working as a Producer to bring the novel U.P. (Ghost Road Press) to the screen based in Michigan's Upper Peninsula.

The film is divided into three acts set in the lead-up to key product launches hosted by Apple co-founder Steve Jobs (Fassbender). The first depicts Jobs and marketing executive Joanna Hoffman (Winslet) dealing with problems before the Apple Macintosh launch in 1984. The computer's voice demo will not say "hello", and Jobs demands engineer Andy Hertzfeld (Stuhlbarg) fixes it, threatening to publicly humiliate him in the presentation. Hertzfeld finally suggests faking the demo using the prototype 512k computer. Meanwhile, Jobs rants about a Time magazine article that exposed his paternity dispute with ex-girlfriend Chrisann Brennan (Waterson): Jobs denies he is the father of Brennan's five-year-old daughter, Lisa. Brennan arrives with Lisa to confront Jobs; she is bitter over his denials and his refusal to support her despite his wealth. Jobs bonds with Lisa over her MacPaint art and agrees to provide more money and a house, though he still denies his fatherhood. Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak (Rogen) wishes Jobs well and asks him to acknowledge the Apple II team in his remarks, but Jobs refuses. Flashbacks show the two creating the Apple II, revealing that Wozniak's ideas made the product successful. Jobs then discusses company politics with CEO John Sculley (Daniels); they talk about Jobs' life as an adopted child, and Jobs admits that his need for control stems from his feelings of powerlessness in being given up.

Atlanta-based watch salesmen Billy McMahon and Nick Campbell seek employment after being laid off from their positions when their employer goes out of business. Billy then applies for an internship at Google for the two of them, and they are accepted due to their unorthodox interview answers, despite a lack of relevant experience. Mr. Chetty, the head of the internship program, also expresses his doubts about the older men's abilities. Angelina (Hinshaw) is an 18-year-old girl not far from graduating from high school. Her boyfriend (Weston) suggests that she take naked pictures of herself and sell them. She is initially hesitant, but eventually does the photo shoot and uses the money to run away to San Francisco with her best friend Andrew (Patel). At a strip club party in the city, Angelina meets a wealthy lawyer by the name of Francis (Franco), who offers to introduce her to a glamorous world of expensive dresses and lavish parties. Angelina also meets Margaret (Graham), a former porn star turned adult film director. Margaret offers Angelina, now using the porn name Cherry, direction in her entry into the San Francisco porn industry. Angelina makes several soft pornography films before deciding to do a hardcore film. After Angelina shoots the film, an angry Francis chastises her before getting them in a car accident. Angelina returns home to find Andrew watching one of her films. After an argument, she decides to leave and meets Margaret at a bar. They make out before returning to Margaret's apartment to have sex. The final scene is of Angelina some time afterwards, having moved in with Margaret and taken on a new job as a porn director.
