Adavi Ramudu is a 2004 film which was directed by B. Gopal. Prabhas and Aarti Agarwal played the lead roles. Ramya Krishna acted in an item number alongside Prabhas. The movie features the love story between a tribal youth and his childhood sweetheart. This was Prabhas' next movie immediately after the success of Varsham. Upon release it received mostly negative reception from the critics and audience alike and was a disaster at the box-office. It was dubbed into Hindi as The strong man Badal.
Synopsis
In her childhood, Madhu befriends a boy in a village. Her uncle comes and insults the boy for being a tribal. Madhu then tells him to get education so that people will respect him more. 10 years later, the boy Ramu(Prabhas) returns to the college,where he meets college's most wanted woman Madhu (Aarti Agarwal).Madhu falls in love with him.Later, she reveals in her birthday party that she was the childhood girl who told him to be an educated person. However Madhu's mother Tribhuvna(Telangana Shakuntala) insults him and throw out of her party and house. Tribhuvna is a hot minded woman who can do whatever she wants either Mafia or Politics.She wants kill Ramu. What happens then is rest of movie.Actors

The film begins with election campaigning in Bobbili Village. Sundaraiyah (Gummadi) and Rajeswari Devi (Vanisree) are strong opponents in elections. Rajeswari Devi and her elder brother Ahobala Rao (Kota Srinivasa Rao) plays a lot of tactics to win the elections. But their younger brother Suryam (Vidya Sagar) supports Sundaraiyah and also loves his daughter Rajyalakshmi (Sumitra) and she becomes pregnant. Everybody dishonors her and Ahobala Rao wants to take an advantage of the situation in the election campaign. When Suryam decides to reveal the truth to everyone, Ahobala Rao tries to stop him, in that quarrel Suryam dies accidentally. Ahobala Rao plays a game and keeps the blame on Sundaraiyah & Rajyalakshmi, both of them are arrested, but somehow they escape from jail and reaches a forest.

Vamsi (Mahesh Babu) is a fashion designer who gets an opportunity to participate a designer's contest held in Australia. The film is set in the backdrop of lorry driver's union who are compelled to work under a power-hungry owner Ranganayakulu (Raja Krishna Murthy) and thereby becoming victims of exploitation. The owner acts like he helps our lorry drivers to become independent but frame them in smuggling and illegal cases. A fearless Lorry Driver Balamurali (Nandamuri Balakrishna) questions this exploitation and demands rights for the union. An IAS Officer, Collector Lalitha Devi (Sharada) and her husband SP Pradeep Kumar (Vijayakumar) also helps the Balamurali, in this regard Jayamma (Vijayashanti) is ideal as his female lead with mass oriented.

Krishna Prasad is son of a rich man (Jaggayya), in his childhood his father younger brother (Nutan Prasad) kills his brother for the property and Krishna Prasad is driven out of the house. Krishna Prasad goes to live with his school-teacher Nagamani (Sharada) whom he treats as his own mother, she has two children, Balaram & Jyoti, of her own. Nutan Prasad tries to kill Krishna also but unfortunately Balaram is separated from his family, and assuming he is dead. Nagamani looks after Krishna and Jyoti. After 20 years, Krishna Prasad (Venkatesh) falls in love with his college friend Radha (Amala). (Sudhakar) son of Nutan Prasad turns to become a local goonda, protected by his dad by bribing the local police. Jyoti is raped and murdered by Sudhakar and his pals, and they also run over Nagamani rendering her crippled. Both Krishna and Nagamani swear to avenge Jyoti's death. Then Balaram (Siva Krishna) re-enters their lives, as a police inspector, and is bent on arresting Krishna by hook or by crook, casting doubts whether he is or not on the payroll.
