Adiós gringo is a 1965 Italian Spaghetti Western directed by Giorgio Stegani. Its stars Giuliano Gemma and was co produced between Italy, Spain and France. On release in the United States, nearly all of the cast members and production team had their names changed for the English audience. A major success, it was the 4th highest grossing picture of the year in Italy.

Synopsis

A young rancher, swindled in a cattle deal, kills a rancher, in self-defense, who has accused him of stealing his cattle. He then gets caught up in adventure and romance as he tries to prove his innocence and clear his name.

Peu après la chute de Troie, Ménélas ramène Hélène. Faisant naufrage durant une violente tempête, elle est sauvée par Arion. Elle demande alors asile au roi Ramsès de Thèbes. Séduit par sa beauté, il délaisse Naïs, sa favorite, et ne se préoccupe même plus des troubles menaçant son pays. Jalouse, Naïs propose son aide à Hélène pour rentrer au pays. Mais Ramsès est assassiné par l'ambitieux Toutmès avec le poignard d'Arion. Accusé du meurtre, Arion est arrêté avec Hélène. Il parvient à s'évader et à rejoindre Aménophobis qui règne sur la Basse Egypte. Il arrive finalement à temps pour sauver Hélène pendant qu'Aménophobis triomphe dans Thèbes avec son armée.

The city-state of Rome has just expelled its Etruscan overlords and become a republic. The Etruscans declare war in an attempt to regain their territory; in the ensuing battle, they capture the courageous warrior Scaevola and threaten to torture him unless he gives them strategic information.
