A story begins with a swashbuckling thief Surendra (Nandamuri Balakrishna), also a master of disguise, who always targets Vidhatha (Charan Raj) dictator of the city and he is being tracked down by SP Indrani (Sharada), an efficient Police officer. Surendra contracts a multi-speciality hospital for labor at free of cost with all these money. Dr.Rekha (Vijayashanti), the younger sister of Indrani, inspired to the Surendra's good heart and starts loving him.

Srinivas (Venkatesh) an educated unemployed guy, he and his sister Lakshmi (Varalakshmi) lost their parents in childhood for saving a landlord Sridhar Rao (Vankayala) and stay with their uncle Nagayah (Suthi Velu) who is a chronic drinker, takes out all money given by Sridhar Rao and sells them. Srinivas cousin Saroja (Gouthami), daughter of Nagayah helps them to get away from that place and she stays back. They have been adopted by a couple (Gollapudi Maruthi Rao & Y.Vijaya) in the city. Srinivas does all kinds of jobs like newspaper delivery boy, auto driver and runs a dance school, where he gets introduced to Lalitha (Bhanupriya) who will be looking for a job staying at her sister's (Anitha) house and her brother-in-law Yenimdakula Venkatrao (Prasad Babu) who is a bad person. Srinivas gives Lalitha job in his dance school and both of them fall in love. Meanwhile, Saroja changed her name as Swapna comes to rent in Srinivas house only without knowing that he is his cousin.

Madhusudhana Rao aka Chinnababu (Chiranjeevi) is a wannabe football player, who would like to represent his country. Chinnababu is also the youngest son of Narasimham (J.V. Somayajulu). Chinnababu is in love with his childhood friend and neighbour Priyadarshani (Bhanupriya). Despite his father's efforts to stop him, Chinnababu's love towards football grows and his coach encourages him to participate in leagues. Priyadarshani supports him in all his endeavours. Chinnababu's younger sister's marriage gets fixed and unable to arrange enough money for the marriage. Narasimham asks his sons to contribute. But, his sons, who are controlled by their wives deny any help. Frustrated Narasimham tries to sell his house. But, Chinnababu stops him in the last moment and sends him money, saying that his elder sister sent it. His sister's marriage is done uninterrupted, without Chinnababu's presence. After marriage his elder sister arrives and denys that she sent any money. Surprised and shocked chiru's family later learns that Chinnababu donated one of his kidney to save a rich man's heir and sent that money. Narasimham appreciates his son's efforts, for not even bothering about his football career and saving his house on time.

Lord Vishnu (Suman) listens to requests from his consort Lakshmi (Bhanupriya) that there weren't many people singing songs in praise of the Lord in Telugu language. In response, the Lord sends Nandaka (His sword) to be born as Annamacharya to a childless couple in Tallapaka village, Kadapa District. Keerthana (Ramya Krishna) is an orphan who is being brought up by a villager whose wife doesn't like her at all. Keerthana is learning dance from the famous teacher of the village. Bala Krishna / Balaiah (Nandamuri Balakrishna) is a villager who fights against his uncle Ramadasu (Rao Gopal Rao), an arrogant devotee of the Hindu god Rama who always says that Rama told him to do all his schemes. His daughter Rani (Ramya Krishna) is Balaiah's cousin who loves Balaiah so much and is willing to do anything for him. She beats up any young girl who even goes near Balaiah. This is when Balaiah meets Priya (Raveena Tandon), a teenage girl who is Balaiah's other cousin from the city along with Tulasamma (Srividya), Priya's caretaker. He falls in love with Priya as this outrages Rani and she begins to feel jealous. Rani and Priya challenge each other that if Priya can make Balaiah fall in love with him, Rani should apologize for her misbehavior and forget about Balaiah. If Priya fails, she should leave the village. Balaiah proposes to Priya which she accepts, although not really loving him. One day Priya takes the challenge too far when Balaiah is bitten by a poisonous snake because she asks him to get a ring from that snake on purpose. This is when she reveals that she really wasn't in love with him. This angers Balaiah who ties the mangalasutra considering them wife and husband. Though Balaiah doesn't love her anymore and he only tied it to show her not to mess with people's lives. This becomes a huge deal around the village and Ramadasu begins to blackmail about it until he is later arrested by Tulasamma, who is secretly a police officer. Balaiah's mother Annapurnamma (Annapurna) tries to reunite the couple along with Rani, who inside is extremely disappointed for not marrying Balaiah. When Priya is attacked by a bunch of goons one day, Balaiah saves her and Priya falls in love with him. However Balaiah still doesn't love her or consider her as his wife. Priya moves in Balaiah's home with Annapurnamma's acceptance. One day when a man tries to shoot Priya, he questions why a group of assassins are after her. Tulasamma then reveals Priya's dark past. Priya's brother-in-law DIG Benarjee (Devan) kills Nana's (Devaraj) brother and arrests Nana. Nana who is a powerful terrorist seeks revenge by killing Benarjee and his family. Priya is the only one who survives but Nana is in search of her while still in jail. In order for her to be safe, the police hide her in Nana's hometown since people barely know it and that Nana will never figure out she's there. It is also revealed that Priya is not Balaiah's cousin, they used him so that no one knows about this. Balaiah then starts loving Priya and promises to protect her from Nana. Meanwhile, Nana escapes from jail and finds out that Priya is in his hometown. Balaiah kills Nana and the film ends with Balaiah's first night with Priya and she arguing with Rani about who gives him a glass of milk.
