Hera Pheri is a series of Indian comedy films. The first film is directed by Priyadarshan and produced by Karanjit Singh Randhawa, and rest of the films are directed by Neeraj Vora and produced by Firoz Nadiadwala. The series starring Sunil Shetty, Paresh Rawal and Akshay Kumar in lead roles. In the third film Akshay Kumar has been replaced with actor John Abraham.
This series is now the nineteenth Highest-grossing film series in Bollywood.

The movie starts off when two photographers Makrand, aka Mac (Akshay Kumar) and Shyam, aka Sam (John Abraham) are doing a photo shoot.. Champak Chaturvedi (Paresh Rawal) the director of a theatre group, is offered a chance to perform a show in London. Bunty (Akshay Kumar) and Babla (Govinda) are two derps and flirts in his group, always fighting with each other to get the role of the hero. Their behaviour causes the actress (Tanushree Dutta) to run away. This really upsets the organizer, who offered the chance mainly because of the heroine. Three friends from Delhi go missing in a small village – Jhanjhar. It's two months and there is no clue about their disappearance. The media and students movement demand action from the authorities.
