Mera Saathi is a 1985 Indian Bollywood film directed by K. Raghavendra Rao and produced by Kesava Rao K. It stars Jeetendra, Rajiv Kapoor, Jaya Prada and Mandakini in pivotal roles. It is a remake of 1983 Telugu movie Dharmaatmudu.
Synopsis
Ranga (Jeetendra) a rowdy lives alone, one day an unknown girl named Ragini (Jayaprada) entries into his house accidentally changes his way of living. Ranga comes to know she ran way house to protect herself from Banssy Das (Shakthi Kapoor) who want marry her for her property, Ranga protects her from him and marries her and lives a happy life. One day Ragini comes to know he is in crime line, she asks him to change his life style; Ranga changes his entire life style and joins as a worker in a factory, he & Ragini lives very happily they blessed with daughter. After sometime when the factory was in heavy losses Ranga takes the same factory in lease, develops it and becomes a millionaire. After few years their daughter Shanthi (Madakini) whom Ranga loves from than any one else loves a guy Shyam (Rajeev Kapoor) who is in trap of Banssy Das, Ranga comes know this he doesn’t agree for their marriage but Shanthi marries Shyam without his permission, Shyam takes way the entire property of Ranga and sends him & Ragini away from their house, then Banssy Das cheats Shyam and keeps him in his custody, Ranga comes to know this he protects Shyam from Banssy Das, Shyam also realizes his mistakes and then they all live happily.Actors

Sitadevi (Tanuja) lives a comfortable life with her husband and two sons, Rakesh and Rajesh. While celebrating the birth of one of her son's, her husband gets killed in an automobile accident, and his friends, Dhartiraj(Pran) and Malpani(Kader Khan) capriciously take over his estate and ask Sitadevi and her sons to leave. While leaving by train, Sitadevi and Rakesh are separated from Rajesh during an accident. Years later, Rakesh (Jeetendra) grows up to be a singer, while Rajesh (Shatrughan Sinha) lives a life of crime, and is the hit-man of none other than Dhartiraj. He is in love with Radha(Jayaprada) and does goondagiri to bring up his blind sister. When Dhartiraj's only daughter, Jyoti (Meenakshi Sheshadri), falls in love with Rakesh, Dhartiraj arranges to meet with him, and tentatively agrees to this marriage. Rakesh does not know that Dhartiraj has already finalized Jyoti's marriage with Malpani's son (Shakti Kapoor), and has made arrangements for Rakesh to be killed by none other than Rajesh. Rest all story revolves around how Rajesh and Rakesh discover their relation and take revenge on Malpani, Dhartiraj and Shyamdas.

Raj Nagar estates owner Raja Dharma Raj Singh is a millionaire. He and his wife Radha have a son and Radha is pregnant with a daughter. One day, Devan Kuber Singh, alias Cobra (Kader Khan), a smuggler and gangster, kills Dharma Raj and frames it as an accident. Radha (Sridevi) is a notorious prankster creating a variety of mischiefs along with her gang, which often end up in the village court. Masterji (Rajesh Khanna) enters the village with his infant child to take up the vacant teacher post in the local school, but isn't spared from Radha's pranks upon his arrival. He takes up the job with one hand holding the book, and the other rocking the cradle in the classroom much to the amusement of local folk in the village. Radha's playful nature transforms into love when she learns that he's a widower. She tries many ways to win the teacher's heart, but fails every time. The teacher believes that a stepmother would not take care of his child, and thus even rejects the offer to marry his dead wife's sister. As a last hope to attain him, Radha blames the teacher for molesting her and even swears on it by crossing over his child in front of the village court. Petrified, and with the whole village surrounded, he is left with very little option than to marry her. But vows never to touch her and remain in celibacy. But Radha doesn't give. She relentlessly tries to seduce him by unconventional methods that prove to be testing times for the teacher. With the chances of winning him slowly decreasing, Radha comes to a conclusion once and for all.

Arjun (Venkatesh) is unemployed but tolerant and kind-hearted stays with his father Dasaradharamayah (P. L. Narayana) and step mother (Tatineni Rajeswari) and step sister Kalyani (Samyutha). One day Arjun beats up a group of ruffians who are thrashing a poor man for not paying extortion taxes headed by Ungarala Ramappa & Ungarala Kishtappa (Paruchuri Brothers) protected by MLA Benerjee (Rao Gopal Rao). With this incident, Arjun's life changes, he invokes the wrath of the local goon. Ugarala Kishtapa warns his parents and insults his sister, at the infuriated Arjun, thrashes him and destroys all his activities. Arjun is arrested C.I. Keshava Rao (Nutan Prasad) henchmen to Benerjee let off him with a warning, but an Inspector Shekar (Sudhakar) notes that Arjun is actually doing the right thing, later he also begins to fall in love with Arjun's sister Kalyani. Arjun is also fallen in love by Sensational Subhadra (Kushboo), a journalist his college meet.
