Mon amie Pierrette est un film réalisé par le cinéaste québécois Jean Pierre Lefebvre en 1967-1968 et présenté pour la première fois en 1969. Lefebvre en a également écrit le scénario. Mon amie Pierrette a été produit par Clément Perron et les images prises par Jacques Leduc. Il fut filmé en couleur, et comme s'il s'agissait d'un film amateur tourné par un père de famille. Les rives du lac Stukely en Estrie ont possiblement été utilisés comme décor pour quelques scènes .

Synopsis

Un jeune couple vit son amour naissant au chalet familial lorsqu'intervient un étranger.

Beena (Amala Paul), a program producer with NDTV 24x7, is in her ancestral village for a television program. She wants her fiancé to meet her grandmother, who has just been discharged from hospital. Aarti Verma (Rekha) is a widow with two children. She is an unattractive woman with a large birthmark on her face. New York begins in the United States in 2008, with the arrest by the FBI of Omar Aijaz (Neil Nitin Mukesh) after guns were found in the trunk of a taxi cab he owned. Omar, a young Muslim man originally from Delhi, is then taken into custody and interrogated by FBI Agent Roshan (Irrfan Khan) (also a Muslim man originally from South Asia who has been living in the United States for twenty years). Omar then discovers that he was set up by the FBI in order to force him to spy on a former college friend, Samir Shaikh (John Abraham), whom he hasn't seen in seven years and who the FBI believes is a terrorist. In the process, Omar discovers that Sam has married Maya (Katrina Kaif) (a mutual friend whom Omar had a crush on in university) and finds out that Samir and Maya have a young son, Danyal (Aidan Wagner).
