It was released on July 31, 2010, with advance ticket sale events having been scheduled for April 17 and June 19. The DVD version of the film was released on April 27, 2011. Along with the film, a comical short feature named Naruto ???: Naruto, The Genie, and The Three Wishes !! (劇場版NARUTO-ナルト-そよ風伝 ナルトと魔神と3つのお願いだってばよ！！, Gekijōban Naruto Soyokazeden: Naruto to mashin to mitsu no onegai dattebayo!!) was also shown. The theme song for the film is "if" by Kana Nishino. The film was released in North America on September 17, 2013 by Viz Media.
Synopsis
Assigning on a mission to capture a missing-nin named Mukade, Naruto Uzumaki, Sakura Haruno, Yamato and Sai wield chakra-knives, which are uniquely designed trench knives that allow a ninja to infuse their chakra with it to produce an added effect. They head for the once glorious historic ruins of Rouran, a city with one thousand towers in the middle of the desert. They pursue and corner Mukade, whose goal is revealed to travel to the past and take over the Five Great Shinobi Countries with the power of the Ryūmyaku (the Ley Line in official English translation), an ancient chakra flow deep underground Rouran. He unleashes the power of the Ryūmyaku, which is sealed by Minato Namikaze (who was well known as Konoha's yellow flash), causing the light to engulf Naruto and Yamato, before Sai and Sakura rides on an ink bird and attempt to escape.Actors

In the potential outbreak of a Fourth Great Ninja World War, a few ninjas with Kekkei Genkai abilities begin to disappear from the land of Lightning, Earth, Water and Wind. A mysterious group of ninja called the Sora from the Sky Country makes a surprise attack on the Leaf for vengeance, due to them nearly destroying the Sky Country, during the Second Great Shinobi World War. Naruto Uzumaki is arrested to the criminal containment facility known as Hoozuki Jou (鬼灯城, lit. "Physalis Castle") in the Hidden Grass Village, after he is declared responsible for attacking the Fourth Raikage and the members of Jōnin from the Hidden Mist and Rock Village. There, Mui (無為), the head of the prison, places the Tenrou o Tsukau (天牢を使う, lit. "Sky Prison Control") seal on Naruto which limits his chakra. On the first night, Naruto uses a clone as a decoy to escape from prison, but his clone is secretly taken by Mui to have the Nine-tailed beast's chakra extracted which leads him to the real Naruto, and he is shortly recaptured and placed in solitary confinement, before delaying Mui's plans.

Naruto Uzumaki and his Hidden Leaf peers track and drive off members of the Akatsuki who should no longer be alive. While his friends are praised by their families, Naruto wallows in loneliness before he is taken by Sakura Haruno to the park to hear her complain about her parents. However, Naruto revealed to have been tagged by the Akatsuki, the two are ambushed by Tobi as he uses the Limited Tsukuyomi (限定月読, Gentei Tsukuyomi) to transport them into an alternate reality based on their inner thoughts. Being called Menma (メンマ), Naruto and Sakura are surprised to find their friends acting the exact opposite of their usual selves along with a flirty Sasuke who never left the village. While Sakura learns that her parents are dead with her father as the reality's Fourth Hokage, Naruto sees his parents, Minato and Kushina, alive and well. Shortly after, Naruto and Sakura participate in a mission to retrieve a Red Moon scroll which details on how to defeat a mysterious masked ninja. During the mission, Kushina is injured when she protects Naruto and dissuades the youth's refusal to bond with his parents.

The film opens with Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha and Sakura Haruno watching a film starring Yukie Fujikaze, in a local cinema. Kakashi Hatake has summoned them to watch it as preparation for their next mission: to prevent Yukie, who plays Princess Gale in the films, from being captured during production of her latest film. Yukie is later revealed to be Koyuki Kazahana, a princess from an island known as the Land of Snow. Doto Kazahana, who is revealed to be Koyuki's uncle, was responsible for the murder of her father Sosetsu in a coup d'etat. During the shooting of the film, Doto's henchmen, wearing Chakra armor, attempt to capture the princess, but Team 7 manages to delay the princess from being captured. Doto eventually captures Koyuki and kills her bodyguards, who reveal themselves in an attempt to protect and restore her rightful place as the ruler of the Land of Snow. Naruto enters the ship to rescue the princess, only to be captured and forced to wear a chakra-draining device. Doto forces Koyuki to hand over a crystal necklace her father had given her when she was young, thinking that this is a key that can unlock the hidden treasure Sosetsu had left behind before detaining both Koyuki and Naruto.

As the Smurfs get ready for the Blue Moon Festival, Papa Smurf sees in his cauldron a vision of Clumsy Smurf reaching for a dragon wand and the Smurfs in cages while Gargamel laughs. Not wanting this vision to come true, Papa Smurf disallows Clumsy to pick Smurf Roots. Clumsy disobeys Papa and ends up unintentionally leading Gargamel and Azrael to the village. The Smurfs all flee for their lives while Clumsy unknowingly runs towards the Forbidden Falls, with Papa Smurf, Smurfette, Grouchy, Brainy and Gutsy running after him. They find him at the edge of a cliff, and while trying to help him up, they are sucked into a gigantic vortex that spirits them to present day New York City. To make matters worse, Gargamel and Azrael follow and the Smurfs end up in the apartment of Patrick and Grace Winslow, a married and expectant couple and their Basset Hound Elway. After clarifying things, the Winslows befriend them and allow them to stay in their apartment. The next day, needing to find a "star gazer" (a telescope), the Smurfs follow Patrick to his work place at Anjelou Cosmetics, misunderstanding the previous explanation of his job as fortune-telling. He calls Grace to pick them up.
