Synopsis
Radha comes from a poor family and dreams of becoming a great singer. She falls in love with Sasikumar, who calls himself Junior Yesudas. Sasikumar is also from a poor family. When Radha asks to marry Sasikumar, he says he is helpless as he has a lot of responsibilities and he does not have the money. Radha decides to commit suicide but is rescued by her cousin whom she understands was in love with her.Actors

Sachidanandan (Dileep) runs an antique shop in the Jewish street at Kochi. He is famous for old Gramophone records. Jennifer (Meera Jasmine), Pattu Set (Oduvil Unnikrishnan), ‘Saigal’ Yousuf and Tabla Bhaskaran (Salim Kumar) are Sachi's fathers close friends. Sachi’s father was Raveendranathan (Murali) who was a great music director who died leaving him with a lot of musical instruments and some gramophone records. Sachi hates music, as he believes that his father has not made any money out of it. Aryadevi, a famous singer, who has been given her first break by Raveendran, comes to Kochi from Bombay with her daughter Pooja (Navya Nair).

Kuttan Thampuran (Manoj K Jayan) is the son of Subhadra Thampurati and Kochanyian Thampuran of the Maangaattu kovilkkam. Kuttan has suffered from epilepsy from childhood and is rough and violent in his character and is feared by all in the village. Haridas (Vineeth) is his classmate despite being two years younger and develops a special bond with Thampuran from childhood. Haridas always accompanies Kuttan and carries iron keys to assist Kuttan in case the seizure develops. Both Hari and Kuttan grow up to be unsuccessful in their respective lives and Hari is criticized for this by his father Bagavathar who is a well known classical singer, but has not been financially successful. Hari had a liking for music, but Bagavathar discourages him from music and persuades him into a professional degree course. Kuttan meanwhile had frequent seizures from Epilepsy and is a nuisance in both home and village, despite seeking various medical treatments.

Royal Circus, owned by Govindan (T S Raju), is on rocks. With the help of his manager Khader (Mamukkoya), Govindan just manages to run the company, though not in a satisfactory manner. All the members of the troupe live as a family, sharing intimate bonds of love and camaraderie. Abookka (Bahadoor), once a clown, has turned insane. In 1912, Broadway star Don Hewes (Fred Astaire) is buying Easter presents for his sweetheart, starting with a hat and some flowers ("Happy Easter"). He goes into a toy shop and buys a cuddly Easter rabbit, after persuading a young boy to part with it and buy a set of drums instead ("Drum Crazy"). Hewes takes the gifts to his dancing partner, Nadine Hale (Ann Miller), who explains that she has an offer for a show that would feature her as a solo star. Don tries to change her mind and it looks as if he has succeeded ("It Only Happens When I Dance With You"), until Don's best friend, Johnny (Peter Lawford), turns up. Nadine reveals that she and Don are no longer a team and it becomes obvious that Nadine is attracted to Johnny. She does continue to try and pursue him, but he politely refuses her relationship out of respect for Don.

After having a bitter disagreement with his friend and manager Jehangir Khan (Kay Kay Menon) about the latter's blatant abuse of power and influence to win a dance competition called "Dance Dil Se" for his team JDC (Jehangir Dance Company), the choreographer of the dance company, Vishnu (Prabhu Deva), quits his job. At first he wants to return home to Chennai, but his friend Gopi (Ganesh Acharya) persuades him to stay in Mumbai with him. One day, he observes several young men using parkour to evade the police. They turn out to be proteges of Gopi, but despite their obvious raw talent, they lack the discipline required to become serious artists; they demonstrate this disastrously at a local event for a politician, wherein they set the stage on fire. After witnessing the same young men showing their dancing abilities at Ganpati Chaturthi to beat their rival neighborhood. Vishnu decides to start his own dance group with them; ultimately preparing them to compete in "Dance Dil Se". However, the lack of discipline among the dancers and rivalry between the two factions in the group led by D (Dharmesh Yelande) and Rocky (Salman Yusuff Khan) leads to multiple creative and emotional blocks. Initially, only Rocky and his gang are willing to attend the free classes, but soon D and his friends gravitate towards the studio.
