Anwar (Anand Michael) is a final year medical student in Bangalore and Sajna (Meera Jasmine) studies in a local professional college. They are cousins and their marriage had been fixed in childhood. Parthasarathy (Jayaram, popularly called Parthan, lives in Krishnapuram village. Parthan is constantly clashing with his uncle Falgunan Thampy (Jagathy Sreekumar), who is the Panchayath President. Mr. Menon (Devan), a multi-millionaire, buys considerable real estate and entrusts it to one of his trusted lieutenants, Sreedharan Unnithan (Kalashala Babu), to construct a 5-star hotel.
