A tailor falls in love with the girl next door, Sumathi. But her father, a log breaker, decides to marry her off to an NRI. Since it is inevitable to stop the marriage, the tailor decides to write a novel. Fortunately, he receives the State Award for the Best Novel. With the prize money, the tailor builds a huge Mansion. Story revolves around the paradoxical elements of love and betrayal which leads to bizarre endings. The film is filled with sub-plots and ends with the beginning of possible sub-plots. Hari is the house owner who shelters Arun, Tovino and Vicky. Hariis an well-known painter and is in love with Muktha. Abhi is Hari's brother and is also friends with Vicky. Vicky leads a playboy life with a live-in girlfriend, Tina who is a promiscuous person that cheats him with an other guy for a stable relationship. Abhi leads a married life with Aparna but also engages in an extramarital relation with Shirly, he runs an music studio. Tovino is a gym trainer who cajoles older women's for gifts and such and also an aspiring playboy. Arun is an company employee who leads a love-life with an under-age girl Diya, who herself have ulterior motives. His immature judgements makes his life troublesome. Unni is the help of Hari who cooks food and helps in other household matters, he also aspires to be like Vicky and Tovino, as a skilled womanizer. The story weaves in and out these characters with tight and loosened grip of drama and humor.

The story first shows Nithya(Namitha Pramod) a sand artist doing her program. When she returns she meets with an accident which leads to memory loss that can allow her remember anything for just 24 hours. She keeps a memory book (orma pusthakam)where she jots down all her memories.Then they show Gautham(Vineeth Sreenivasan)a young businessman who also has suffers from temporary memory problems. His mother(Rohini)get annoyed with him and asks him to Marry a girl Hema (Muktha) whom he doesn't like . Angry with his mother by this he and his Grandmother(Lakshmi) makes a plan. The plan makes him say that he is in love with another girl and the next day they are going to have a date. The next morning he goes for a city round instead for a date. He then meets Nithya and watches her Sand art and memory show. They fall in love. Nithya's does not write her memories in her memory book as she thinks if they are real soul mates then this magic will happen. The next day they meet but Nithya does not recognize Gautham. Then Gautham, his friend Apoorva( Aju Vargese) and Nithya's sister Neetu (Soumya Sadanandan) makes up plans and at last he succeeds. He tells his mother that he loves Nithya and then brings her to Gautham's House. There they realize their Love for each Other. But the next day Nithya forgets him but retrieves back about him after reading her memory book. She then says that they can never say together and so tears his memories from her book. They go in their own ways. One day when Gautham is going for a meeting in USA he meets Neetu in the Airport. She says that Nithya is fine. She then shows him the video of Nithya's Program. HE sees hat the pictures drawn were related to him. That moment he stops his trip and goes to watch Nithya's show. There when she sees him she gets emerged up and draws her image with inner strength. But when he went and asked him whether she remembers him she says no. Gautham returns and than sees his mother in the auditorium. His mother asks him to turn back. When he looks at the screen he sees Nithya drawing his face. Gautham runs back to the stage and asks her "whether she really does not know him". She replies that "even without knowing who you are I used to draw your pictures". There they understand that even though she forgets everything after 24 hours she will never be able to forget him as she loves him.

Mukundan Unni (Jayaram) is a tantrik magician and an exorcist. He is not really keen about his father's tantrik magic skills and is wiling away his time with two dumb cronies in a remote village. There he meets a girl named Malu (Poonam Bajwa), who has no memories about her past but falls pretty easily for the hero after a couple of songs. But they get separated soon after. Some years later, he is called by a wealthy family to exorcise a spirit called Rukku(Muktha George) from their palatial house, Shenoy Mandir. There he comes across Malu again under the name Chandana. He vows to get her back after she fails to recognise him. Mukundan then remembers his father's teachings and starts learning from the ancient thalliyolas passed from generation to generation. He manages to bring Malu (Rukku) to the manthrakallam. Here he finds out about Rukku's past; a girl from a poor background who loved a person from the Shenoy Mandir. When the three brothers in the Shenoy Mandir got to know of the affair, they killed of Rukku's family and burnt Rukku alive. Her lover, horrifyed at the sight, jumped into the flames and committed suicide. Since then Rukku became a vengeful soul and killed two of the three brothers. Mukundan was just about trap Rukku into a wooden doll when the Shenoy family came in, interrupting the pooja and freeing Rukku, who onece more possesses Malu. One night Malu(Rukku) tries to kill the third brother. But she is stopped by Mukundan and is exorcised, freeing her from the world. Without asking for anything in return, Mukundan starts to leave. Just as he was about to leave, the third brother gives Malu to Mukundan.
