Vashu Bhagnani is one of the most prominent producers from Bollywood . He is of Sindhi Descent. His notable films include Coolie No. 1 (1995), Hero No. 1 (1997), Bade Miyan Chote Miyan (1998), Mujhe Kuch Kehna Hai (2001), Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein (2002), Om Jai Jagadish (2002), Shaadi No. 1 (2005). He launched Puja Entertainment India Ltd. in 1995 with the movie Coolie No. 1. His latest ventures are Kal Kissne Dekha (2009) and F.A.L.T.U(2011) where he introduced his son Jackky Bhagnani.

The film is based on Raj (Govinda) who has a girlfriend, supermodel Dolly (Lara Dutta), and a wife, Kiran (Sushmita Sen). Raj fires Mangu (Rajpal Yadav), a cook, because of attempting to seduce the female staff. To take revenge, Mangu takes a picture of Raj with Dolly and gives it to Kiran. Siddharth Mathur (Sharman Joshi), a shy young scientist, travels to Mauritius for his elder brother Harsh's (Sanjay Suri) wedding. Accompanying him is his mother Gayatri (Shabana Azmi), a reluctant traveller since she is angry at Harsh for deciding to get married without consulting them. Also travelling is Siddharth's cheery father Navin (Boman Irani), whose sole entertainment is pulling Gayatri's leg. Harsh, pre-occupied with work, can spend little time with his family and it is left to his fiancée Aaliyah (Chitrangada Singh) to show them around Mauritius before the wedding. However, Ma's anger at Harsh ensures that she takes an instant dislike for Aaliyah, and it is Aaliyah and Siddharth who end up spending loads of time together. This, added to the fact that Aaliyah feels neglected by the career-obsessed Harsh, leads to them being irresistibly drawn to each other. A horrified Siddharth battles this attraction desperately, but Aaliyah has fallen madly in love and pursues him with single-minded determination. When Siddharth’s defences start crumbling and Ma starts getting suspicious, all hell breaks loose in the Mathur family.

Bhavana constantly uses religion as an excuse to not be intimate with her husband, Diya aspires to be an actress for Mr.Y (Rajpal Yadav), and Sonia is a lawyer who is obsessed with doing cases with her partner H.S Gulati (Ali Asgar). the three men try to commit suicide as Veer tries to hang himself on a tree but falls, Aryan drinks expired rat poison and Raj wishes he was run over by a train but their suicide plan does not work until they also meet Kothari (Satish Shah) who is also trying to commit suicide because he had three companyies that have broken down. The three men get a job as Kothari hires them to work for him. Soon the three men come across Kothari's daughters: Madhuri (Riya Sen), Rekha (Aarti Chhabria) and Dimple (Sophie Choudry). It is not long before they are tempted by them. Unfortunately for them Lucky Bhai (Sanjay Dutt) is out to make their life hell and expose them to their unassuming wives. The three men sign a contract as the three beauties have been deceived and that their wives are disappointed at them. Once again the three friends commit suicide by standing on top of a ladder but are left hanging when Kothari tries to cut the ladder with a chainsaw. their wives come but are left hanging to as Lucky Bhai saves them but Raj falls into a lump of dust and junk, Aryan falls through wires and electricity and Kothari and Veer falls into a dog van with a broken arm along with Kothari who falls onto a cement packet. Injured, Veer,Raj and Aryan apoligize to Lucky Bhai as he feels awkward about saving people but has trust in them.

Rahul Verma (Arjun Rampal) and Karan Srivastav (Zayed Khan) are business partners. The film begins with the discovery of dead body of Pooja Sharma (Amisha Patel), Rahul's wife.
