The film is heavily inspired by Hollywood film series Child's Play and is an unofficial remake of the first Child's Play film (1988). The film flopped heavily at the box office.
Synopsis
Charan Raj (Shakti Kapoor) alias Channi, is a master of crime, theft, kidnapping and black magic. He has a desire to rule over the entire world and for this desire he is ready to do the meanest of deeds - even that of murdering children. Charan Raj lays his hands upon an innocent boy - Raju (Master Amar) Raju is the only support for his sister Karisma (Karisma Kapoor) who herself dances on stage to be able to rear her brother and has all her hopes pinned on her brother. Channo who was by now assumed the guise of a doll - A doll that can walk, talk and even kill - is the Papi Gudia. This doll gets stuck to Raju like a leech. Raju, in spite of being innocent gets linked to every murder and then he comes under the eye of police. A Makichumi, Inspector Vijay Saxena (Avinash Wadhavan) holds Raju responsible for each murder. Karisma, who till now had been enjoying a comfortable life with her younger brother, is caught in a dilemma between murder and law. On one side is his younger brother and on the other side is her love Vijay Saxena.Actors

Krishna (Sunil Shetty) is a new name in the world of crime, whose exploits attract the attention of Raja (Shakti Kapoor), an heir to a dead underworld don. Raja is just reduced to remain at the mercy of Bhujang Rao aka Bhau (Mohan Joshi), another don. Raja loathes Bhujang and his attitude and extends a hand to Krishna, who accepts the offer. The Central Bureau of Investigations Chief briefs his men that a group of terrorists are about to strike terror in India, and he points out the options they have for combating them. They go over the list of operatives they have, and decide to pick Agent Miss 420 (Sheeba Akashdeep) for this job, which she accepts. Before she can even begin her investigations, she is killed in her car with an explosive device. A news-reporter, Arvind (Aashif Sheikh), comes across come damning evidence against a underworld gangster by the name of Diwan Kapoor (Mohan Joshi) alias DK. But before he could even tender this evidence to relevant authorities, he is abducted by DK's men, then imprisoned and tortured. Arvind's sister, Anamika (also played by Sheeba), and her boyfriend, Vicky (Baba Sehgal), go to look for Arvind. What Vicky does not know is that Anamika is not who she claims to be, she is Miss 420, and that they are entering a web of lies and deceit, from which few have returned alive.

Raju is a waiter in a popular hotel. He is in love with Geeta (Karisma Kapoor), a famous news anchor. He is obsessed with her news segment. His big dream is to meet and marry her one day. Baba and Avinash are brothers who lives in a shanty house with their widowed mother, who makes a living as a housemaid. When a stalker attempts to rape their mother, Baba knives him to death, and the three, along with an orphan named Nawab, take shelter with an underworld don named Uncle. Shastri Suri (Shreeram Lagoo) comes from a middle-class yet honest background. He has raised his son, police inspector Siddhant Suri (Govinda) and daughter Bindiya and second son Nandu (Rajoo Shrestha) in a similar way. But Nandu has fallen into bad company. By hook and crook, Adarsh wins the election, and decides to humiliate the Suri family. He asks that his body-guard be none other Siddhant Suri. Siddhant must now choose between staying with the police force and serving his corrupt master.

Ganga (Govinda) and Gauri (Karishma Kapoor) are in love but the young lovers are not permitted to marry. One night they run away, finding themselves in the den of an evil sage (Puneet Issar) who is trying to coerce the Lord of the Snakes (Nitish Bharadwaj) into giving him a gem he needs to make the nectar which will give him immortality. Raja Babu (Govinda) is a poor orphan adopted by a wealthy village couple (Kader Khan and Aruna Irani). He is a typical country bumpkin, good-hearted but lacking in urban manners. His vanity, not discouraged by his mother's doting, leads him to have his photograph taken often at the village photo studio, each time in a different outfit. He is always accompanied by his sidekick Nandu, (Shakti Kapoor). Nandu is of a lower rung in the social strata, evidenced by his refusal to be seated on Raja's motorcycle, even when implored: the same kindness extended by the wealthy Singh family in adopting Raja is evident in the family's treatment of Raja's friend, in spite of Nandu's clownish antics.
