Sesha Ratnam (Sarada) is very rich and headstrong women in the village Nakkabokkalapaadu. Even her husband Veera Bhadrayya (Kaikala Satyanarayana) Fears Her. They have two daughters Shobha and Neeru. Anjali Devi is Veera Bhadrayya’s Mother. Venkateswara Rao/Venkanna (Nandamuri Balakrishna) is the grand son of Anjali Devi and Nephew to Veera Bhadrayya. Sesha Ratnam doesn’t get well with her mother-in-law and never allows any of husband’s relatives to enter into her house. Veera Bhadrayya wants one of her daughters to get married to his nephew Venkateswara Rao. But Sesha Ratnam opposes the proposal. Venkateswara Rao promises his grandmother that he will marry one of Veera Bhadrayya’s daughters and unite the families. Venkanna comes to nakkbokkalapadu to make one of Sesha Ratnam’s Daughters to fall For him. But in the process, both the girls fall for him. In the end, Venkanna Convinces Sesha Ratnam and unites both the families.

Vijay (Nagarjuna), an unemployed guy suffering with family problems, Rani Malini alias Arunabai (Jaya Sudha) a kothi dancer appoints him as a spy against Naga Raja Varma (Rao Gopala Rao) a Zamindar of an estate. Ravi (Chiranjeevi) is the son of a sincere Police officer (Satyanarayana). Ravi accidentally hurts his neighbour's eyes and become responsible for his blindness. Fearing that his father would scold him, he runs away from home and is brought up by a don in Calcutta, who names him Kalidas. The don dies in an encounter and Kali is asked to leave the world of crime and become a good citizen. Kalidas changes his name to Raja and while traveling in a train saves his father, later realising their relationship. Because of his criminal background he does not reveal that he is his son. Satyanarayana takes him to his house and introduces Raja to his family members. His father is to face the local goons headed by Rao Gopala Rao. In the mean time he meets Radha and came to realise that she is the daughter of the person who became blind because of him. Raja helps her in having her father's eyesight returned and wins her heart.

Bheema Raju (Jaya Prakash Reddy) a mafia don, kills his henchman Rajeswara Rao (Chalapathi Rao). Raana (Nandamuri Balakrishna) son of Rajeswara Rao kills Bheema Raju and becomes a mafia don himself. He becomes a very powerful man in the society and later on marries an innocent village girl Ganga (Heera Rajagopal). Bheem Raju's son Devaraj (Charan Raj) try to kill Raana in many ways, but nothing works out. Raana kills a Municipal Commissioner (Raghunath Reddy) for raping a girl. Dr. Kasthuri (Bhagyasri) who is a doctor and also an ally of the bad guys does the postmortem of the body and tells the police about the murder and tries to send Raana to jail. Raana kidnaps Kasthuri and threatens her and while he is killing her Shankaram Master (Chandra Mohan) obstructs his way begs him to leave his daughter, then suddenly Raana finds out that Kasthuri is none other than his long-lost sister. But he not able to express the truth, because he has given a promise to his adopted father Rajeswara Rao that he never till his wife Parvathi (Annapurna) that he is their adopted son. Devaraj uses the situation, develops more and more enmity between Kasthuri & Raana and desperately tries to kill Raana using Kasthuri. But she comes to know that Raana is her brother towards the end of the film.

Ravi Teja (Chiranjeevi) is an industrialist, who owns a textile company. He is a successful person in business but his personal life lacks harmony and peace. Nagaraju agrees, and teaches madhavi, her mother, and Ravi Teja's enemies a lesson. Ravi Teja faces a strange situation of leading a thief's lifestyle. He encounters Radhika, who is also a small time thief. In the end, they both reveal their true identities and end the story on a happy note.
