Sesha Ratnam (Sarada) is very rich and headstrong women in the village Nakkabokkalapaadu. Even her husband Veera Bhadrayya (Kaikala Satyanarayana) Fears Her. They have two daughters Shobha and Neeru. Anjali Devi is Veera Bhadrayya’s Mother. Venkateswara Rao/Venkanna (Nandamuri Balakrishna) is the grand son of Anjali Devi and Nephew to Veera Bhadrayya. Veera Bhadrayya wants one of her daughters to get married to his nephew Venkateswara Rao. But Sesha Ratnam opposes the proposal. Venkanna comes to nakkbokkalapadu to make one of Sesha Ratnam’s Daughters to fall For him. But in the process, both the girls fall for him. Raja (Chiranjeevi) goes to town for higher studies with the donation of people living in a tribal village. He returns to his village after the studies. He then finds the sufferings of his people and how they are cheated by local heads (Rao Gopal Rao and Mohanbabu). He then fills confidence in his men and tells them that they should face these illegal in the court of law. But this duo makes the villagers fools and Raja's attempts goes in vain. Few villagers get hurt by this act suicide as they have no other option and the blame is on Raja as he has forced them. Sametime Raja is selected for IAS but he rejects it and decides to fight against the villains and changes to a Robinhood avatar and names himself as Kondaveti Donga. He punishes the illegal and stands by the villagers thus all his folk starts admiring him. Trouble starts when the villains start doing mischief in the name of him. Vijayasanthi is an inspector comes to his place to catch hold of him. Radha her sister, working as a doctor knows his true identity and starts loving him. How this kondaveti donga punished the fraud people or is he caught by the police or what happens to him forms the rest of the story. There is also a dance routine with a Michael Jackson impersonator singing "Girly Man".

Vijay (Nagarjuna), an unemployed guy suffering with family problems, Rani Malini alias Arunabai (Jaya Sudha) a kothi dancer appoints him as a spy against Naga Raja Varma (Rao Gopala Rao) a Zamindar of an estate. Madhu (Chiranjeevi) is a painter who becomes a drunkard since his wife is killed immediately after their marriage in an accident. He leads a careless life until a kid (Baby Sujitha) who is deaf and vocally challenged (dumb), enters his life. He names him Raja and takes care of him however, he doesn't stop drinking. Raja's parents are murdered by Venu (Raghuvaran) and his assistant and Raja is the witness to murder who is tried to be getting rid of by them. Geeta (Vijayashanti) meets the kid in a shopping place and mistakes him to be Madhu's son and fights with them when the kid accidentally breaks her just bought gift and later realises her mistake and comes to apologise to Madhu's house. She befriends the kid and gradually falls for Madhu. Later she comes to know that the kid is none other than her sister's (Rajyalakshmi) son and she was murdered. Madhu is accused of murder and kidnap, and is arrested by Inspector (Prabhakar). But they realise that he is not the actual killer and is released. However Venu and his assistant keep trying to kill the kid and they are almost successful when Madhu is out drunk one night but saves him in the last minute. This changes him and he gives up drinking. The rest of the story is how the villains are slain and Madhu and Geetha marry and adopt the kid.
